I couldn't find the comment asking about the results of DHs Mercury test to refer to but the test results arrived today. He has been exposed to mercury but in very small amounts (.29 ug/g units) in the the last 3 or 4 months. That's what time period the inch of close cropped hair indicates.
This testing was done at the Environmental Quality Institute at the University of North Carolina-Asheville, by way of the a Cold Vapor Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry test.
Greenpeace also sent out a list of fish products to avoid eating. I couldn't find the list on the web page with a short search but you may find it. The site has the test featured here
