I have a lot to do and get moved around and get settled this week as the six months are up, and I get the knees treated, again, starting Friday. This is every Friday for three weeks. So, this hyper activity on the blog over the last few days reflects this.
One thing that is going to get caught up is the Aran Sweater, hovering as it is at 11% when everything else is up about 25 or 30. So, anyway pictures of the other four projects tomorrow and then a long silence because I'll be gnashing my teeth trying to get things done. I'm sure you know how it feels when something you can't stand is inevitable. It's not the pain, because it's fairly painless, it's having to take it ultra easy on those two big joints. This is annoying as hell but a cake walk compared to what so many of you put up with everyday.
Remember I never forget that you are making the most of so much. God Bless Ya! God Love Ya!
Good luck with the knees! What kind of treatment are they going to do? Did I miss an entry?
ReplyDeleteMy thoughts are definately with you. Prayers and hugs and all.
Meribeth
Meribeth, thank you. Here's some hugs back, too!
ReplyDeleteThe treatment for my knees is called Hyalgan treatments, and they are not as bad as they sound. Anything that promises to keep more BIG pieces of metal out of one's body is worth it!
Since I've gotten a fair share of cortisone shots over a long decline into senility, I've forgotten my
fear of fat, rather blunt needles..Well, almost. LOL!
OK,Googled it. First I want to say cringe, secondly I want to say "What a wonderful way to do it!" After seeing IL's have their knee replaced, neighbors with hip replacements, a husband that is looking forward to arthritis in the hip...Amen for Hyalgan! I wish you well and I hope the doc gives you a good buzz before injection. Please, let us know how you are doing! ..and I do not appreciate the dig about excercising..oh, yuk! I have used winter as an excuse, time to get back at it myself..sigh..
