Marbles?

 


There's this little tale about Rockhounds and how you know when you become one.

You take a little bag of marbles out with you to a field trip, and everytime you put a rock in your rock bag you take out a marble and toss it. When you've lost all your marbles, you are then officially a rockhound.

    Thanks for the chuckle! But as I tend to 'lose my marbles' regularly (!), I'd go through rather a lot of 'em, rock hound or not! :-)

    Thank you all for the nice comments about the joke which I can't claim as my own. But it's so funny it stays forever in the memory, and it makes the rounds of every Rock hound gathering from here to the North(and probably South) pole.
