This blog was started by two young women who said that they knew they just had to "Do Something!" Do you remember the "YouTube" video's that end in a whispered, "Psssst! Just Do Something!"?
They have done something, and their whole page is filled with the voices of women who state passionately why they are against this particular woman as a candidate for Vice President of the United States.
See what you think. There are hundreds and hundreds of voices on this blog. I find it a stirring tribute to women all over the world of other generations who have fought, in our own inimitable ways, for equal rights for themselves and for their daughters. It's very moving.
The Women Against Sarah Palin Blog
Thanks for posting this link. I've posted it over on my blog as well.
ReplyDeleteThank goodness for sites such as those. And thank you for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThat woman makes me shudder.
Great Link! Thank you for that.
ReplyDeleteThank you all for your comments.
ReplyDeleteI feel that this woman is a danger to all that a free nation has to offer it's women.
Also, we don't need a fanatical "Taliban" army rising up behind her in some sort of "shadow government". We've worked to damn hard for our civil rights!
Thanks. I'm passing it on.

Ty ty, k. :)
ReplyDeleteSarah Palin is entitled to her beliefs. That is the American way. She does not have to support choice, she can be in favor of her religion, that's all perfectly all right.
ReplyDeleteMy real concern is that she has demonstrated by her mayorship and her governorship that she is not presidential material, not at this point, perhaps never. Her ability to process information is limited as you can see in the interview with Charlie Gibson. She parrots learned phrases rather than responding to questions. A president cannot do that.
Oh, I know she isn't running for president, but John McCain is a 4-time cancer survivor and the oldest candidate who has ever run for the office. Odds are not good for his long-term survival. Which would lead to the VP taking the office.
I think that Ms. Palin means well. I think she is patriotic and that she believes in her belief system. But I don't think she has the capacity to move beyond governorship of Alaska, and I hope that her leadership doesn't damage that state too much.
I agree that she is genuine in her beliefs, and that she is a patriotic person. I also agree that she is not presidential material.
ReplyDeleteShe is a narrow minded petty bully, she's vindictive, and uses femininity when it suits her. I hope enough people think with their heads and not with their eyeballs, and realize that Palin is NOT the best female candidate this Nation has to offer for such an important and powerful office.
