Ok, Baby Torts eating

I was shocked and delighted to see that there are several others with baby tortoises, eating, on YouTube, too. Most are African Sulcatas, but ours are our own hatchlings from California Gopher Tortoises parents.

    Hi Kara! Oh I wish you could see how small they are still, and look into those tiny, TINY brown eyes and the way they look back at a person.

    Rho, I'll have to ask DH to give them some stems of romaine so they make even louder munchie sounds. :)

    I love the two chewing the same leaf and gradually getting closer and closer... like Lady and the Tramp eating spaghetti!

    BL says "that one eating flower! that one have it!"

    Hi, TGL, and yes, I think of "Lady and the Tramp" when the babies do that sharing the same leaf thing, too.

    I was petting Milagro today and she bit me, thinking my finger looked lovely to eat. She knows that we usually have food in our hands so she maybe thought, "Oooo a new food!"

    I'm so glad to hear BL's comments, too. I'll try to give the baby torts some adventures outside during this warm spell, sort of spice up their lives. I wish they could talk, but then again, what would they say??? Could be enlightening or... maybe not. lol
