Sky Watcher Post
Pacific Beach, today around Noon. These clouds are the remnants of a storm that was supposed to give our county a considerable amount of rain. Ho Hum. We will not waste any water this spring because we will be called to ration it in the summer.
Pretty picture! I just have yucky snow to look at, and it is 1 degree outside! Thanks for reminding me that there is sunshine somewhere, and I'll see it again. :)
Hi Magnusmom, I've been reading about all that bad weather. sheesh. The really bad power outages and stuff are scary because power is needed to start most furnaces. Hugs!
This has a downside, Mary, are you listening.. I saw that! hehe..
This looks like a real paradise but not in the summer when everything is dying from drought and you are watering with your re-cycled bath water. There's also the big fires that race through the place in summer and fall. But we do have nice winters. Sheesh I just remembered we had a disastrous fire that started in January one year, called the Viejas fire! We never forget their names! 8-(

ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, look who's here. Hi hi! Nice to see you posting and hope it was because you've been busy with all good things.
ReplyDeleteYesterday was a beautiful day but pretty cold, too, probably less than 55 degrees and that's cold for the "California lizards" like me. ;o)
Here's to your sun returning, and warming you all up. One degree is just unbelievably cold. Unreal! 20 degrees is the coldest I can even remember.
what a glorious picture - it makes up for our grey blustery weather :)
