Giant Bearded Iris blooming

 
The stalk is about five feet tall but i got it to snake around on top of the geranium by fooling it. You can do that pretty easily because the flower heads follow the sun. They are such beautiful flowers I had to share them again this year. Enjoy them. Soon the flowers all over the gardens of America will be blooming. I don't know why I try to post this late at night, with the dog growling at me to come to bed and disturbing my concentration and spelling mojo. So, off to bed!

    @Fuzzarelly, Ah yes, the hillsides here are clothed in greens, and the back yard looks like an English Garden, a somewhat weedy English Garden. hehe

    @Mary, I guess you got hit with at least part of that snowstorm. It was already March for heaven's sake!

    I fear that Mother Nature has become confused. I'm glad the flowers are cheery reminders of what will soon arrive for you, too.

    Hang in there, Magnusmog! Spring is on the way to you. It just hits here in the middle of winter. When we are frying our buns off in The Dry, you can stay in your green paradise and laugh. ;)
