No One Is Going To Save You, You Fools....

Have you seen the link I'm putting up?  If not, even though it comes from the Daily Kos, it's quite illustrative of what has been happening to our political system as the hidden arm of The Muscle Economy took over.   There have been very academic treatises on the subject, probably going back to World War One, which just shows you how little time the electorate is spending watching out for their own freedoms, one of which is economic freedom.

This result is partly the one that Eisenhower warned of, with a twist that organized crime started moving into legitimate businesses in the early 60s.  We all had our heads in Vietnam wars, just as now we are pre-occupied with Afghanistan, Iraq, and the next "big thing".   If the Communists had their so called "Five Year Plans", organized crime - which now includes a lot of people who would NEVER think of themselves as anything but "good businessmen" - has it's five year plans.   They have an agenda, we do the suffering.
