Petition: U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders (Vermont)

This is a petition for getting Single Payer BACK in the running.   This is NOT that watered down so called "Public Option" that the President as been bleating about!

Isn't it about Time that we had a really good health care package, like the Congress and the Federal Government has?  What could it hurt?

Let's let OUR voices be heard, and not filtered through a bunch of noise being made by a For Profit System that has failed.

    Thanks for the link, but I fear it's too late. The pointless and shameless obstruction seems to be winning. I feel an almost irresistible desire to pinch off Joe Lieberman's head (fat lot of good THAT would do)and a large measure of despair at this point.

    Ellen, thanks for your comment about this, and yes, it's always hard when you know something very wrong is going on, and the money is mostly on the wrong side.

    But, it's going to take an organized electorate -organized the way the way the right wing Christians were, or the Populist movement in Kansas by farmers, to get, IN THIS DEMOCRACY, what the majority want. And petitions like these are one step in the right direction.

    Also, I don't think it's ever too late to tell the truth about something.
