This very interesting. I wonder where they will draw the new line between what is classified and what is not. Or maybe they will go back to business as always.
ReplyDeleteThe US is not the oldest democracy. Iceland is. It bugged me when our last president we were because I knew we weren't. As for best that's debatable because other industrailized countries have caught up and surrpassed us on issues like health care and education.
Right. And what I should have been careful to say is that I was TAUGHT in school to believe these things.
ReplyDeleteAbout drawing the line, the line moves all the time. We who care about all of this have to be careful to push constantly to keep from being overwhelmed by those with the big $$$ who can buy access, eh?

ReplyDeleteOne other thing about where "they" will draw the line. I guess they will have to figure out how much embarrassment they are willing to suffer, because it seems to me this whole thrashing about is more about that than about any amount of actual damage to the "Realm".
