| Elfin socks all ready for Christmas |
The heels are different because the first sock heel looked too thin when the yarn was carried up to form the first gusset stitches.
I love the length of the leg, and will probably make all my socks that long from now on. It's a very comfortable feeling length for me. I can wear them with my boots I bet! But, today I have to get my knees treated so I'm not wearing hiking boots into the clinic for that. especially with a long skirt, though that has been the style in some past years amongst the young. The young looked cute doing that.
I'm a senior so a little more limited a Fashionista. hahaha
ah! I'm glad I'm not the ONLY one that notice things like that in my life! a couple of days ago fractals couldn't get out of my mind! ...and WOW christmas project finished? you are an inspiration!

ReplyDeleteThe socks sort of evolved into a Christmas project, since they came to look like elfin socks over time. hehe.... I think I will start on more planned Christmas stuff though, since it's almost April.

ReplyDeleteI washed the new socks today and they stayed pretty straight! I was worried with all the different yarns and the ties that had to be made. I worry over nothing, can you tell? Bonkers! hehe
