It's raining cats and dogs right now. Today, as we drove out towards the Santee Valley, the stormy sky was just drop dead gorgeous. I love rain, and the stormy skies that go along with it.
On Friday the clouds were coming in while we were on our way to my sister's house. This is a snap taken then. Rain, the perfect weather for staying inside and knitting in California, since we so seldom get any snow in the lower elevations. When we get snow, no one stays inside. We run around like a bunch of goofy birds. Snow is just too much fun to waste by looking out of a window.
And, when coming out of the gym the other day, this little pretty caught my eye. A car had run over it, ruining the clasp for the hair, but it left this treasure unscathed. It's going to be a lovely "bits and pieces" for a Sparklie in the future.
That little plant is a Tilanzia that is at least 20 years old by now.... give or take. I think it needs more TLC than a teacup can give it. Check out the pictures of it's little mates! I think a tall glass of multi-colored sands is called for.

Working my way through the thicket of the American political scene. I am trying to not put any of that up on this blog EVER again. Meh!
