Music Monday... Pearl Jam, Eddie Vedder - Bob Dylan Song, Masters of War.

The above is a cut from David Letterman's show...

Eddie Vedder

  1. Bib Dylan wrote that song in 1963. It hasn't lost its power.

  2. I remember an American Marine, a Major, who fought in the First World War, and who wrote a scathing article about the very same elements and their war profiteering during that war.

I'm truly proud of our military people, and the sacrifices they have made when we had some real enemies, but I haven't a good word to say about the "Masters of War".

    Smedley Butler, that's the one.

I can't do a hyper link but I'll just post the link to be picked up, here

The one on YouTube is a re-enactment, but it's the same words. 1933. *sighs*
