Updated to include the first 20 questions of Sunday Stealing

I got the idea from HERE  and "Sweet Memes" who got it from HERE and someone else who got it from yet another blog, so now let's all pile on and have some fun.

This is obviously the second part of something but I can't easily find the first part so I finally just gave up. Here We Go!

Mini me, at 6.

My sneaky little smile in second grade.
I was of the generation that was allowed to start school at 4.
OOOops! JUST now found the first 20! Going to plug them in and answer them.
Unfortunately, there is some sort of code embedded in the text I copied from the Sunday Stealing site that messes with the font size.
If that happens to you, just highlight all the text you've copied and pasted, and look to the right side of the compose editor.  Click on the "T" with a small right "X" on it's leg, and that will remove the hidden formatting that's messing up your editing process.

1: Do you notice a persons eye color?
Yes it's the first thing I do notice.

2: White, milk, or dark chocolate mocha?
Can't drink milk so I drink Chocolate soy milk, rice milk and sometimes almond milk.

3: If you could get a tattoo free, would you do it? what would it be?
No, I wouldn't get one though I like them and think that they can be very beautiful, and they look sexy on a man's arm.

4: Did you grow up in a small or big town? Did you like it?
I grew up in a rural area turning urban. In other words, Farmlands being encroached by housing. I absolutely loved living in a semi-rural area on a farm.  It was the best life for me.

5: Your favorite adult as a child? (and not your parents, if they were your favorite)
My grandparents and Aunts, my mother's sisters, were my favorite adults.  I can't single one out but I sure did love my Grandad an awful lot.

6: What kind of smoothie sounds really good right now?
A strawberry banana mango smoothie is my favorite.

7: Most embarrassing moment from your elementary school years?
When I was new at a school, my entire first grade class started beating me up one morning while we stood in line. This was because they apparently thought I was a mulatto.. The Los Angeles school district was very prejudiced at that time. I was humiliated, but told the teacher nothing at all when she came through the back door to retrieve me. I was 5 years old.

8: Most embarrassing moment from your middle school years?
Too many to mention, and too many involved racial junk. But the girl scouts were the best kids in the school, and once I joined them, I had a clan!

9: Most embarrassing moment from your high school years?
When two enormous girls knocked me over, twice, so I kicked them both so hard on the butt that one turned around and gave me a big black eye. I don't think it was embarrassing per se, because I was high for a week over it.. fighting back is exhilarating!

10: Have you ever fired anyone?
No.

11: Have you ever climbed a tree more than twenty feet off the ground?
Absolutely! Trees were made to be climbed!

12: Did you like swinging as a child? Do you still get excited when you see a swing set?
I lived to use the swings, and go so hight that the chain did that slack and snap thing.Excited?  Sometimes I want to go over and swing a little.

13: If you could have any pet in the world, illegal or not, what would you get?
I would get a hedgehog. But first I'd get a Morgan Gelding and train it to harness.

14: What's your favorite place to relax?
Central Coast. It is Home to me.

15: What's your most favorite part of your personality?
My sense of humor wins that, hands down. I love to laugh.

16: Madonna or Lady Gaga? Neither? Both? Who cares?
Who Cares? I like Cindi Lauper, Carly Simon, and the Late, Great Janice Joplin.

17: Have you ever watched the Superbowl all the way through?
Oh course. I love to watch a big game especially. I know how to play football.

18: Have you ever watched any major sporting event live?
We used to go see baseball and American Football games in the stadium. We also went to Soccer games all the time, and we watched the World Cup Semi finals from stadium seats.

19: What's the most delicious food you've ever eaten in your life?
There was a restaurant, here, that made fried chicken salads, with walnuts, and a dressing made from pan crispy bits, vinaigrette. It was different and Very delicious!

20: Margarine or butter? Which did you grow up with?
I grew up eating margarine. If we had had a cow, we would have had butter but cows were too expensive to keep. That's why I never had a horse of my own. When we lived, from time to time, with my grandparents on their farm, we had butter.

21: Would you swear in front of your parents?

Not back in the day, though both could swear like Sailors, as the saying goes.  Now, yes, but only  the paternal unit.  He has it coming.  Mother, who passed away a long time ago, no.  Well, not very much.  I do talk to her in my daily thoughts, and sometimes out loud.  She's one of my favorite mentor/muses.

22: Which continents have you been on?

One and only one - North America.  I never expected it would be that way, since I'm very much for a nomadic life, and thought I'd go all over Europe and even to Nepal and Tibet.  But I'm happy that we settled in and had all our daughters, all of whom have turned out excellently well.  They are "colorblind", compassionate, independent, and kind, and generally still like us. What more could a parent ask for?

23: Do you get motion sickness? Any horror stories?
I never even get sea sick, unless the boat stops.  And, it has to be a little boat and stopped for a long time on the sea.  I don't get seasick on lakes.

24: Why did you name your blog whatever you named your blog?
I wanted to share my knitting, so I named it as a knitting blog  when I started knitting socks in mid 2004.  Unfortunately, I lost my knitting mojo after my knee replacement in 2011, and it hasn't really come back.  It's been a year and a half, almost.  I have no idea if it ever will come back. But I do a lot of other stuff too, like attend candle light vigils for causes, so there's a big variety of stuff on my blog.

25: Would you wear a rainbow jacket? A neon yellow sweater? Checkered pants?
Though I love yellow with an insane passion, I cannot wear it. I have a sort of pale Asian coloring, definitely not pink skinned. But a BIG YES to a rainbow jacket. (Is this a marketing survey?)  Anyway, I made myself a woolen, single crocheted, poncho, and I wore it many years.  It had a black ground and thin stripes of all the colors of the rainbow.  It was like a jacket, big and very warm, criss crossed with a pocket in front and back.  I gave it to my DD when she went to Philly for a year.  As to pants, an emphatic "No!". I won't -and never did- wear checkered pants.  I've worn a pair of plaid jeans, in high school.  I really loved them!

26: What was your favorite cartoon growing up? Post a picture if you can.

I loved this one........................The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show

27: In a past life, or lives, I must have been an artist, because that was my driving ambition since day one; also I was an archer, definitely, and probably also a swordsman.  I believe I was also something akin to a song keeper, too, because my song memory is very good.  DH always says he is amazed at how many songs I know, because I can remember lyrics and sing the tunes from Radio commercials, and the like, from years ago.  I sing in my dreams and others sing to me in them, too. This is very pleasant, and makes up for all the nightmares!

28: If you had to look at one city skyline for the rest of your life, which would it be?
I don't like big cities that have actual skylines, but I could look at the big waves in  Santa Cruz in Central Coast, California forever!  It is really not a skyline but more a lifestyle mind set - oceans - that draws me to any locale.  Santa Cruz may not even have a skyline but it certainly captured my heart.  If I was forced to stick with the original question, I'd pick Seattle.

29: Longest plane ride you've ever been on?

I took a flight to Denver and spent a week there with my hubby.  We went white water rafting on the Arkansas river, and visited the small mining town of Leadville in the Sangre De Cristo mountains.
My favorite memory of Leadville was of a long haired guy hanging out a second story window to talk to me for some reason.  I guess he was bored, or wanted out of Leadville and knew it wasn't happening anytime soon.  We had a long, pleasant convo - me on the sidewalk and he perched on the second story window sill.

30: The longest you've ever slept?

I've slept no more that 6 hours most of my life, lots of the time less.  But when I was drugged after surgery, I must have slept for two days straight after I got home. lol  Le Percoset est trĂ©s, trĂ©s trippy!

31: Would you buy a sweater covered in kitten pictures? Would you wear it if someone gave it you for free?

Absolutely!  I love cats. And free, well, nothing's better than free sweaters.  It takes forever to make them yourself, you know!

32: Do you pluck your eyebrows?
No, not anymore.  My exuberant eyebrows are now two slim, nicely arched ones that maintain themselves quite nicely now that they are "senior citizens".  Actually, I guess I'm lucky to still have them at my age!

33: Favorite kind of bean? Kidney? Black? Pinto?
Garbonzo beans are my favorite, though technically they are a pea.  But a new bean is giving the garbonzo a run for it's money.  I'm starting to love black beans more!

34: How far can you throw a baseball?
A hardball?  Accurately?  I used to play baseball and can still throw practically anything that size or smaller at least the distance from center field to home plate, I reckon.  My trainer, whom I love like a brother, has been making me very strong again.  Earlier in life (when we were both teens) my cousin Jesse could not believe how hard I could throw a baseball when we played ball.  I don't think he'd ever met a real tomboy before.

35: If you had to move to another country, where would you move?
I would go to the Marquesas Islands so I could sing and dance and fish all day, and see the Tropic birds. The second place contender is France.  I would move to France - the South of France, or maybe Normandy!

36: Have you ever eaten Ethiopian food? Vietnamese? Korean? Nepalese? How was it?
I've only ever eaten Ethiopian food.  It was very good.  The bread has this amazing fermented (almost) flavor, and I like eating with my hands anyway.  You eat it with your hands.  The others, no.  I've never had the pleasure to try Korean, Vietnamese, or Nepalese food, unless this last has crossed over to Indian cuisine.  I don't like the spices in Indian foods but Indian nan is heavenly.  Yum!  Now you've made me hungry!

37: How much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?
I love chopping wood, but not chucking it. That's when you get splinters.   Apparently woodchucks don't even gnaw on wood.  They would never chuck it - for good reasons!  T-Rex, of similar physique but much bigger of course, could have kicked wood a long way, since wood is heavy but we'll never really know.  So, I'd have to say the answer is that a woodchuck would chuck none.

There is more to come but that will be up on Sunday, maybe with a matinee. Enjoy your Sunday!
