Sunday Stealing - I'd like to steal a smart Car.

I messed up and forgot a lot of questions..here goes again..

90, part three

Welcome back to Sunday Stealing which originated on WTIT: The Blog authored by Bud Weiser. Here we will steal all types of memes from every corner of the blogosphere. Our promise to you is that we will work hard to find the most interesting and intelligent memes. You may have heard of the expression, “honor amongst thieves”. In that age-old tradition, we try to credit the blog that we stole it from and we will “fess up” to the blog owner where we stole the meme. We also provide a link to the victim's meme. (It's our way of saying "Thanks!") Sometimes we edit the original meme, to make it more relevant to our global players, to challenge our players, to select the best questions, or simply to make it less repetitive from this new meme or recently asked questions from a previously featured meme.
Let's go!!!

From Survey Haven:

61. Do you like current pop stars?
Yes, many but not all of them.

62. What is your least favorite chore?
 Scrubbing floors

63. Last place you drove your car?
To my sister's house
 64. Ever been out of the country?
To Mexico for a vacation.

 65. Where were you the last time you used a public bathroom?

ikk and who cares?

 66. Could you handle being in the military?
No,but when I was youger I thought of it as a career.

 67. What is your average cell phone bill?
I have no idea.
 68. Who or what are you thinking about right now?
My little dog and if he will get better.

 69. When was the last time you laughed REALLY hard?
Talking with my brother on the phone a few days ago.

 70. How many pairs of shoes do you own?   I have 12.  a pair of Hiking boots, 2 pairs of regular sandals, Tevas, Running shoes,  five pair of Crocs, three pair of dress shoes. I wanted open toed Mules like I used to have but they are not made anymore.  THESE are the closest.
   71. Are your toes always painted? My finger nails usually are so I do the toe nails, too.

 72. How many piercings do you have? three sets of two.

 73. What are you doing today? Cleaning out a corner to bring in a trunk I bought in Santa Cruz, and taking care of a sick little dog.  We hope he gets better soon because he's in pain. Right now he's sleeping right beside me on the bed.  I'm using the netbook.

 74. Have you ever been gambling?  No, I hate the smoky places and am immune to gambling (maybe it's an allergy?)  I've seen people ruin their lives with gambling and it's so sad.

 75. When is the last time you updated your blog?
Yesterday, I try for daily but sometimes don't get to it.

 81. Do you e-mail more than snail mail?  Oh,yes guilty.  It's easier and quicker.

 82. What's the funniest picture you ever took with your cell phone?  It's of Wolfie madly cavorting in the sand.  He looks like he's just gone insane.

83. Last time you were sick? Just remember you asked for this litany, lol.   Starting sometime in late March I had pancreatitis, brought on by a medicine that was KNOWN to cause it.  I diagnosed myself!   After doctors discovered that the problem had caused the gall bladder to nearly explode, it had to go.  Then after having surgery for that,  a prescription was re-issued for a BP medicine that I was allergic to.  Since being gagga because of surgery and the meds they give you, I forgot that part and dutifully took it for two and a half months before I finally called the doctor to ask him why I had seven or eight of the allergy symptoms.  I've been recovering ever since.  At my daughter's graduation I cold hardly walk!  There Pina, the cat's out of the bag so to speak.  The moral is to keep good records of your own so your hubby can go to battle for you.

 84. What states have you lived in?  Ohio and California.

 85. Do you wish you could move?  Do I EVER wish I could move.  I want to go to Central Coast!  I love the people  up there and the whole atmosphere.

 86. Do you take a lot of quizzes?  Hardly ever do I take Quizzes.  I used to like to take them but they fell out of my Universe.

 87. What is your dream car?  I want a little yellow Smart Car in the worst way!

 88. Have you ever wanted someone you cant have?
Couldn't have, and yes when I was in High School a wanted a boy named Jim.

 89. If you could be anywhere right now where would it be?
I would live in Santa Cruz, CA, near enough to the beach to walk to it,  or just south of it in Monteray County.

 90. Are you happy with your life?
I'm happy enough.  I make "Happy" come true.  Setting goals for making art and pretty things makes me happiest since I can't be nearer my beloved daughters.

  1. Did you leave a lot of questions blank, or did they just not load on my computer (which is not unlikely)? Curious about which pop stars you don't like. :)

    1. I went back and filled them in Smellyann. But you were so fast picking it up - you were up when?- lol. I don't know any pop stars per se. Not anymore. I know there are lovely voices out there but I don't think there are too many who don't sing with reverb up to ten thousand and four tons of amps on stage when they do. Having said that, I really think that some of the voices I've heard on American Idol are stunningly gorgeous. I go racing through YouTube every once in awhile to listen to Susan Boyle again and some of the others. I don't listen to the programs, just watch the Tubes.

  2. I enjoyed reading your answers! I wish you could live near your daughters too! How far away do they live from you? I live in Ohio! You once lived here? I lived in CA as a kid and one of my daughters moved there for 6 years and couldn't wait to move back home. Sounds like you've had a hard time with illness and doctors. I've been there, done that....and glad I've had relative health for a couple years now! hugs and prayers!

    1. HI Cathy, and I'm glad that you enjoyed reading the answers. To answer your questions, the girls live about 440 miles away, And thank you for the wishes. Since we have a dog we don't fly up there, but we need to figure out something else, PDQ, because of many things.
About Ohio, due to WWII I was born in Ohio, as my mom couldn't stay in California alone when the Paternal Unit left for overseas - rationing and all that jazz - her parents asked her to come back home. I was born in my grandparent's farm house, in the dead of winter. lol Snow baby! So, two years later, home came the madman and he didn't like that I didn't take to him immediately, and got all of us on the first train back to California, a place I love.

Sorry you've had some health problems, too but good to hear that things quieted down. I've had a rough few years, like many others, because of complications of aging and wear and tear, and stress from childhood set my system up for a fall. I'll get better, I'm sure. And, thank you for the hugs and prayers, and right back to ya, too! :-)

    1. Thank you Kwizgiver, kindest of hearts. Soon I'll be back to charging around and gettin' things done. The pup is getting better slowly. He has these periodic episodes, though nothing can be found through ex-ray or blood. We think it's from injury from past abuse. Poor little guy.

  4. Smart Cars scare me. Anything vs. a SC, SC will lose. I think they're a great concept, but until and unless everything else is the same size, no thanks! I love roller coasters - I should go back and edit my answers to include that one. :)

    1. You are right, I know you are. I've just had this love affair with them since they hit the market. The New Mini! Anyway, my lust for one will never go anywhere, though they totally charm me.

Oh! roller coasters. I'd probably toss cookies on all heads around me, but some people love the things! Go for it! ;-)

  5. I hope your dog feels better, and I am sorry you had to have gall bladder surgery. That happened to me a year ago and I'm afraid I have not recovered well at all. I hope you do better than I.

    1. Hi CountryDew. Thank you, and I hope you can recover again. Darn, a year? It's really hard to recover from these things with a lot of other issues going on, like yours and mine. Actually I was doing great in the few days without the change in heart meds, and until the allergy almost put me away. High squeaky voice? You know what that is. Mon Dieu!

    1. Thank you Dawn. He's getting better, regressing, but coming back better next time. Tomorrow the vet if there is any slide tonight. I plan to stay up late again. And what you say is so true! When I saw my GP after the last little human fiasco, she told me that Pediatricians sometimes call themselves Veterinarians because their littlest patients can't talk either! I'd told her that my Vet called us up to check on me, since the last time I was seriously gray. lol

  7. Happy Sunday and thank you for visiting my blog.

I also wanted to be in the military when I was younger. My goal was to be a computer programmer in the Air Force...life had other plans for me.

    1. Thanks for the good wishes, and your blog is a pleasure to read so thank you for blogging! I am a dedicated blog reader as, to me, they are the most interesting things on the web.

Since I love speed and fast airplanes are VERY fast indeed, I wanted to be a fighter pilot in the Air Force. They didn't train women for that. Women are too short they said. So, just a few years later when Viet Nam heated up, and they were training Vietnamese men as pilots, I was already a protester against the war and a mother of two. Life had other plans for me, as you say. :-)

    1. Hi Stacy. Thank you for your note about Wolfie. This is Tuesday, and he is much, much better. I think we are so lucky to have this little guy. He is just too nervous to be alive, sort of like myself! We understand each other well and are a good fit!
