Hey Nineteen!
Welcome back to Sunday Stealing which originated on WTIT: The Blog authored by Bud Weiser. Here we will steal all types of memes from every corner of the blogosphere. Our promise to you is that we will work hard to find the most interesting and intelligent memes. You may have heard of the expression, “honor amongst thieves”. In that age-old tradition, we try to credit the blog that we stole it from and we will “fess up” to the blog owner where we stole the meme. We also provide a link to the victim's meme. (It's our way of saying "Thanks!") Sometimes we edit the original meme, to make it more relevant to our global players, to challenge our players, to select the best questions, or simply to make it less repetitive from this new meme or recently asked questions from a previously featured meme.
Let's go!!!
From the Archives at QuizMeme:
1)Where would you retire to?
In fantasy? That would be the South of France with the kids in tow. Or, where my kids are now.
2)What are your best physical features?
My feet. Hands down, it's my feet. There, a little odd humor.
3)What are your best characteristics?
I think I have only one and that is that everyone I meet is treated as family, unless, of course, they've just slapped me.
4)What kind of books do you like to read?
Didn't we do this before? I read everything but the Daily Rag. Can't stand most of the swill this newspaper puts up as "NEWS".
They all should get a life, preferably one far, far away. Away from South of France, too.
5)What are you reading now?
I'm reading "Good Omens" by Neal Gaiman and Terry Pratchett. It's hilarious!
6)Where would you want to retire to?
See Answer #1.
7)What is your favorite time of the day?
I like to watch it get dark, so that would be evening time.
8)Where did you grow up?
Dirty old Los Angeles County.
9)How far away from your birthplace do you live now?
Counting from conception up to nearly birth, that would be 97 miles. I was meant to be in California, which I love.
10)Are you a morning person or a night owl?
I'm both, from time to time. It all depends on how much energy is around at night. Too much, I'm totally awake the whole night.
11)What inspires you?
The amazing power of forgiveness, and how it can transform lives.
12)Can you close your eyes and raise your eyebrows?
Sure. Can't everyone?
13)Do you have pets?
Five Gopher Tortoises and a very cute and lovable little fur bearing one. Do my Doves count? They are as tame as can be. I can walk right up to them, and talk to them.
14)How many rings before you answer the phone?
I never answer the phone. I wait, like a spider to pounce!
15)What are some of the different jobs that you have had in your life?
I'm a volunteer and worked hard at it. Paid jobs, not so many.
16)Any new and exciting things that you would like to share?
I already did that. Pretty New, and Doggone exciting!
17)What is most important in life?
Breathing in and out everyday, and enjoying the moment. It is to be like a little kid again.
18)Did you dream last night?
Yes
19)Do you remember your dreams?
Sometimes. In most of them I am outside, with lots of people and sometimes amazing animals are in these dreams.

Have a nice week everyone!
South France is beautiful... perfect place to relax.
ReplyDeleteThis Sunday, the paper had an add for a little place run by French expats who are from the South of France. I'm going to have to go have a look in. I like the warmth and the lifestyle there, though what I know is only from reading.
DeleteThe south of France--how romantic and ideal!
ReplyDeleteOh yes, very romantic. Small businesses and not so much noise as here. Santa Cruz is more likely but we'll have to see. :-) San Diego is great climate wise but so darn crowded and noisey!
