Knitting added

The part on the right is done.  Now I just have to knit the other side from the long ribbing (thank heavens that is done) and block and seam.  Ill show the beginning of the first cap tomorrow as soon as the girls send me the size.

There was a smudging ceremony for our daughter a couple of weeks ago.  Sweetgrass.  It smelled so gentle.  Good.  Thank you, Great Spirit for the knowledge of it.

    1. Thank you, Kara. She's looking forward to getting it. I quit knitting on it almost exactly a year ago because of the arm problem. I'm hoping to get it done and sent within the next week, as well a cap to send to her.

  2. A smudging ceremony sounds very interesting!!

  3. It is performed to heal and to purify spiritually. Someone performed it for her but I do not know who. I'm just grateful for it. These ceremonies are very sacred and ancient shamanistic rites that come all the way from Mongolia. I am humbled and thankful that someone did this very special ceremony for our daughter.
