Friday5 for December 30: Forward...into the breech?
1. What are you looking forward to in your life in 2017?
Knitting, laughing a little hopefully, and breathing in and out.
2. What is something you are planning ahead for.
I just don't plan much ahead. More than anytime in the past, I intend to just go with the flow.
3. How intense is your To Do list for the last days of the year.
It's not intense at all. After Christmas Eve, I just relax, take it easy, and recover. I'm not the frenetic person that I once was.
4. What's something you'd like to jump past between now and the end of the year?
Nothing. We have family coming and I'm going to try to enjoy every minute.
5. How will you ring in the New Year?
We always have champagne and chocolate, one to toast with, and the other to ensure that the first taste of the new year is sweet. It's a Swedish tradition that's become our tradition.

I love that Swedish tradition! I might adopt it.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you might adopt it. It's a fun thing to focus the mind toward the positive side or sunny side of life. Love that old song.
DeleteI've never heard of the Swedish tradition. I think I'm a big fan now! Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteMaybe I'll do a post on it later on in the month. Swedes have interesting ideas about things. We watched an Inane comedy about some sort of government study once in Sweden, though it could have been a total spoof. An agent went an lived with a family for awhile and note took about every thing they did. Hilarious!
DeleteLike you, I strive to be as laid back as possible after years of chaos and mayhem around the holidays. All the best in the New Year!!
ReplyDeleteThank you, and all the best to you, too, Cat, and "all who sail with you".
DeleteI'm pretty much not going to rage about things anymore. Resist, and foot drag, yes, but rage, no. Lol. Passive/aggressive, yes, throwing the Molotov cocktails, no... ;o)
