I had occasion Thursday to think about the Chinese zodiac, which I put absolutely no stock in except for its cultural value in the state where I live, which has an enormous Asian population. These questions were inspired by those thoughts.
1. In what ways are you like an ox?
I'm very strong and have been since, well, forever. The old hands are letting me down though.
2. In what ways are you like a rabbit?
I have good hearing and also am (only sometimes now) filled with nervous energy. That probably better describes a Hare.
3. In what ways are you like a snake?
I'm pretty quiet.
4. In what ways are you like a goat?
I'm strong minded and have a singularity of purpose in projects? Yes, I am tad nit pickie.
5. In what ways are you like a rooster?
I don't think I'm like a rooster at all. But am I EVER a Mother Hen! I'm sure my grown up kids don't like being "Mother Henned", so I need to get some chicks to herd and cluck over.

What a wonderful job you did with this meme. I looked at it this morning and decided there wasn't much I could do with it....I guess no imagination.

ReplyDeleteSome how I've managed to compartmentalized all my thoughts, so stepping away from one set of them for another is like flipping a switch. Though it is never truly shut off, it does give head space to something more playful. Think of yourself as that flexible little child again.
I looked up the Chinese Zodiac so I could have an idea what the characteristics of the signs are. I knew I was a snake, other than that, I knew nothing!
ReplyDeleteI don't know that much either, but going by the actual animal seemed the safest thing. I think I was born in the year of the horse, from another time the Chinese Zodiac made an appearance in a meme. I guess that the horse would have characteristics like strong and untiring? Well, this Pony is TIRED! lol
