Sunday Stealing: The Cannon Fodder Questions.

Want to play with the Thieves?  Go HERE to pick up questions and other players responses.

Happy Sunday Stealing everyone!
We found this gem from a blogger called Woozie at his previous blog Tome. He explains that he's 18, and obviously he uses a rather unusual avatar. We aren't doing anything but stealing the meme. Woozie admits he stole this meme, but doesn't say from where. But, it was probably stolen at that blog as well. But that is as far as we go. Tracing back our theft's thieves might take some time. Please "like" us on Facebook!

Cheers to all us thieves!

1. Is there someone you'd like to be kissing right now?
that would be all the kids and their Daddy.

2. When you're being extremely quiet, what does it mean?
It could mean I'm thinking, or meditating, or trying to control a wild emotion.

3. What are you listening to right now?
It's Saturday, and I'm enjoying the Quiet that exists on weekends here.

4. Are you a big fan of thunderstorms?
I love LOVE them!  I like how "alive" they are.

5. Do you believe in perfect?
Humans?  The more they are like Lao Tzu, Buddha or Jesus, the more perfect.  I believe Jesus was perfect, and I believe he was everything that he taught us, no matter how wrong Christian leaders have got it since Day 1.  This because of cupidity, cunning, and greed, among other character faults.

6. Are you a jealous person?
I've been jealous one day in my life, of a Samoan girl down the street from us in the early days.  She was flirting with Mr. Z, very boldly.

7. What was the first thing you thought this morning?
"How much longer can I stand this?"

8. What do you think about when you are falling asleep?
I say my mantra, so that would be,  "think of  nothing"

9. Are you satisfied with what you have in life?
Other than wishing I were skinny and could eat all the Vinegar&Salt potato chips, and chocolate, I want to, yes.

10. Do people ever think that you're either older or younger than you actually are?
The Samoan girl thought I was the baby sitter.  I have always looked ten years younger, due,in part, to my native american genes.  Before it was the law to card everyone, I got Carded when I was 30.

11. Do you think men truly understand women?
No.  Though they may try, many do not appreciate the mental gifts we have, over and above their own reality. Mr. Z has learned to respect my intuition.  I wish he'd bought that damned Qualcomm stock when I begged him to!  I have forgiven him, well, almost... 😏😢 heehee

12. How about women understanding men?
To be honest, we can pretty much see right through many of them when we want to.

13. Did anybody ever call you handsome or beautiful?
Beautiful, yes, and many times.  But I couldn't ever see it myself.  I felt so ugly that I hated my picture to be taken. Too abused, I guess.

14. What is one fact about the last person that called you?
They worked as a survey taker?  We do mostly texting in this family.

15. Other than your current one, tell us about the longest relationship you have had either a romance or a particular good friend.
That would be Meffie, my Turkish friend.  I haven't heard from her, things are hot in that region and the OWB  is not helping matters. I'm getting worried about her and her granddaughter.  We've known each other since we were 16 and 17.  We've been through thick and thin, that lovely lady.  She is still my BFF!

Thank you for playing this week on Sunday Stealing! Please consider liking WTIT on Facebook. Click here. Link when you have posted. Stop back and visit other player’s posts. That is really what this is all about, making new friends! Have a great week. See you next Sunday!

  1. I agree with you 100% on how much religious leaders have mucked things up. They just never seem to get that it's all about having a RELATIONSHIP with the Father through the Son, not about rules and regulations. And yep, it's sin that keeps it messed up.

Does the think of nothing thing work for you? I know if I try doing something mindless like counting or concentrating on my breathing, I am just that much more awake because I'm focused on something.

Praying that your friend is okay.

Have a blessed day and week, Zippi!

    1. Thank you for your prayers for my friend. "From your lips to God's ear", an old Yiddish saying.
Many people are as near to perfect as can be, and live their lives as true human beings. Life here must be very difficult. My heart goes out to them.
About Sleep: yes, it works most of the time, that mantra. But you have to banish thoughts that arise, until they stop. I usually say to myself, " I will think about that tomorrow" if a thought is too intrusive.
My hubby concentrates on his breathing, which works for him.

  2. Thinking positive thoughts for Meffie. What part of Turkey does she live in?

    1. Thank you so much,Bev. She lives in Istanbul.

  3. I hope your friend Meffie is safe.

My family rarely calls me on the phone, we're an email/texting family, too.

    1. Texting is really phenomenal. Twitter without the hashtag, and we love it! Emails serve well, as communication and instant letters. I know they are supposed to be brief but families have really taken to them. All good, me thinks.

  4. I hope your friend is safe. We are not a texting family. My husband will not relent to get smart phones and trying it on a flip phone is just painful. I am considering getting a smart phone at Walmart with one of those pay-as-you go things so I can text my friends!

    1. Absolutely, get your own Walmart phone. You won't regret it, as long as you don't connect it to tons of social media sites as my sister did. We are now trying to detangle her phone from a half a dozen hyper grabby apps she downloaded to it. She's more savvy now.

  5. Oh, that's a lovely story about your friend. I hope that you hear from her soon and that it's nothing but good -- and comforting -- news!

    1. Thanks Gal. It's time to "send out the sled dogs", as The members of Knitter's review used to say. Comforting news is getting more rare.
