Just found this site,  and think it’s important that the leviathans of Google, Facebook, and others  take heed of the harm that comes from their  “engineering” projects.  What’s happening is pretty scary in the long run.

 Since joining a little over six months ago,  I’ve gone all out in Instagram.  It seemed like fun but what an addictive time waster it became!  And it’s owned by Facebook, a place I hate.  So, I’ll be cutting back on that particular social media.   I’m going back to knitting and walking, as I was meant to do.  But I still may do this, my Google blog, and bird watching on Instagram.  There are knitters and family and new friends there in Instagram whom I want to keep in my life.  It does have its uses. 😎

Knitting.. I’ve got the patterns picked out for two weights of yarn, for short fingered gloves.  And I’ve found several adult boot patterns also.  And, gritting my teeth, I’ll have to clamp down on the so called “social media” and get on with it!
