McConnell also conveniently ignores that almost the entire GOP caucus, himself included, voted to acquit Trump in his first impeachment for extorting Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. The only Republican who voted to convict Trump was Sen. Mitt Romney of Utah.”
