Three on Thursday.. a little late...

 1.  My city got a lot of rain, but not too much.  We are rejoicing!

2. This is from back when I still made ceramics and jewelry to sell at shows.  It was fun...

This cab is from a friend.  The wirewrap design is mine.

I made the cab and wire  on this one.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I loved to make wire wrap as well to cast jewelry settings.  We also learned to make stones from what is called "Rough" and to use a faceting machine.  

My most memorable wire wrap was a commission for a stone that had come from the grave of a man's friend's father.  

His friend had to be away in a foreign country,  and he couldn't get back in time for the funeral.  As you may know, Orthodox Jews are buried on the same day on which they pass away.  So, this thoughtful man had saved a stone from the grave site and brought it to me to wire wrap.  It was very touching and humbling to be able to make this wrap for the son who could not be there....

3.  I love cats, and dogs.  This little cat in the photo below was called, "Tuna", because the only thing the DD's had to feed her was a can of tuna when she showed up on their doorstep one day.  She was a starving kitten, and they took her in.  She was adorable. 

The foot prints are my late daughter's.  She'd gone inside ahead of me.
