I happen to be reading a book (fiction) about Icelanders and the Scientists there -volcanologists and Geophysicists, etc- who are working to find a better way to predict the volcanic movements and other events in order to better protect people and property. The book cover is in the side bar.
It's so far pretty great, though it is fiction so the characters have their peccadillos revealed. *Shocked Face*
