Aww you are all so kind. This is our lush green time, and then about May all the weeds are out or dead and we are on water restriction. This year, with all the rain, we might not have too much water restriction but we are setting up the garden to use little water. It really bakes out there now without the big elms. This will be the second summer they are gone.
It doesn't look weedy at all - it looks quite lovely!
