The Rose is sick, and the ground cover isn't helping.
This tall shot is my favorite and doesn't really do the wildness that I love justice. I do love wildness. My poor roses and other tall bearded Iris got over run this winter by the red apple ground cover. It's time for the machetti!
Hi Jane, Thanks. It is really pretty, come to think of it. Summer and Fall are our brown times but so dry here. No mud at least, like now. We just have dead weeds if they weren't pulled up when they were green, in spring. Hee hee
Your garden is so lush and wild (even if you don't want it to be, it's nice that way). Thanks for sharing it! It's still so bare and brown here!
