S puts aside her crochet.. dives in..
Jazzie didn't get any gingerbread but he did get interested in that camera...
R tests the sizes and finds them "just right".
S got her fingers in at the end, after working on her crochet. I went off to knit and was brought a couple of "samples" fresh from the oven. The cookies were soft while they were warm, but hardened up to normal "break your teeth" consistency soon enough. This was a lot of fun to do.
I am still recovering from a cold that settled in my chest but the DDs figured that the oven was going to take care of any hapless germ that decided to find it's way in. My back gave out early anyway, so they finished up.

It looks like you all had great fun, and great "testing" -- that stove top is certainly impressive! Meant for Serious Cooking.
ReplyDeleteThe cookies are lovely, even naked.
Thank you dear Pogo, we did have a lot of fun. And every last cookie found a home, too.
ReplyDeleteI love your kittens avatar. Sometimes I think I could forget the world if I had ten cats or little dogs to care for. Maybe this is what I need to do, go rescue a bunch of little tiny poodles. The trouble with cats is that those five pound cats from Turkey cost an arm and a leg. I don't want anything over five pounds, you see.
