PJ, Yes, and Yes again! The first thing that I remembered this morning when I woke up, was that we had a decent, honest person in the White House as our chosen leader. He's already limited access for Lobbyists! Whoot! It's a great beginning!
Pogo, lol, ya! And I used to wonder if I would live to see Bush and Cheney out on their respective ears.
I'll take any honest hardworking person of the people no matter what race, religion or gender. We need to fix this country.
There has been things wrong here for 233 years, and they lie at the root of who we are and who we say we are; they are haunting us. It's possible to fix them. Righteousness, trustworthiness in all things, is more than just a religious word. It's a core ethic of the path to Peace.
Well, I'm wordy today. I should just go wash my hair. :o)
Sometimes I just sit and smile and smile now that this is over and we have someone like President Obama running the country, someone to whom we can actually TALK. It makes me feel like there is a chance to mend fences, and get all of us pulling together instead of apart. We will need to do this if the Country is to survive.
YES!
ReplyDeleteThe End of an Error, and the Beginning of an Era.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if I'll live long enough to see a woman and/or a person of Asian descent occupy that office.....
