Surprise Blossoms

These were under a table in the shade patio, burning up with the low winter sun. It was a shock to pull the plant pot out from under the table, and find that it had two stalks of lovely little trumpet flowers, all of an inch and a half long.

EDIT I think that the picture looks better at the enlarged size. Google has really done something to photo sizing now. It's pathetic.

I'm sorry these two posts got so mixed up but the other picture was just too awful for words.

      Indeed it was. And..... I'm sorry that it took YEARS to see your comment. My bad! The shade patio collapse caught me by surprise, and it was never replaced. Needless to say most of the plants did not survive. This one was underneath a table that held other plants.
