Storm moving in, Kearny Mesa

Sky watcher post. This was taken yesterday late afternoon, the color of the sky is dark because of the shot into the sun. By 4 pm it was raining, and when I got home it was REALLY raining. It rained off and on all night; one gulley washer woke us up at 4:30am. It was wonderful to hear that much rain coming down here, believe me. We need this sort of rain until May to get us through to next winter. Yesterday, coming home, I realized that the Carolina Cherries are all in bloom. We have Spring. It has arrived. I'll try to get some pictures of them.

  1. I was thinking of you when I heard the rain forecast - and hoping it would make it to you all....

  2. Oh you are so sweet, Rho, and thank you!

A friend of mine and I did do a rain dance here, and we are taking full credit. lol

We are getting some very good rain out of this end of winter storm. There was even thunder a little earlier, which usually means that the thunderheads are building up over more than just the mountains. I'd love to be able to go out far enough to sea and take a picture of the storm from there.

Working my way through the thicket of the American political scene. I am trying to not put any of that up on this blog EVER again. Meh!

Let's see if THIS PART still works. You deserve a treat!

Have a treat.  It's on the House.... We are still hacking our way through the JUNGLE here.....
