This wonderful book will give you hope in a world that is trying to crush your heart and soul. This is the Children's Edition of the Original book. Try it for yourselves, and then if you think your kids would like it, read it with them, or to them. It will give you a lot to talk about.

And isn't that book just amazing? It is like a miracle that all this came to be. The right people in the right place at the right time. Greg Mortenson, who can pick up languages like some sort of linguistic angel, and has the dedication of a saint, meeting up with people in Pakistan who were very pious, and dedicated as well. It makes the heart sing, it really does.
I got the book he just wrote, Stones Into Schools, as a birthday present, and am reading it. It's about building schools in Afghanistan. What an eye opening book!
