There are some rants I could post about various hot button topics but you are saved, SAVED, I tell you.
I'm playing with a pen that was a Christmas present. It's just now installed because DH got it for me but he didn't want to ask me to change the mouse back to a right hand mouse. Actually it works better for me. I can work my game macros better. hehe
But, it's been great fun to play with colors, so what's a blog for?
The little dog has been under the bed,, or under my computer desk, all evening because our city has these Humongous fireworks shows for the Fourth. I think of all the terrified animals and little children's ears, so I'm glad that these BIG shows don't happen that often. The wild birds who live in the bay and the river must be terrified.
Tiny Jazzie wasn't afraid of anything, lightening, thunder or fireworks, but Wolfie is. Poor little fellow. He wouldn't even come out from under for his favorite treat. I Think he's had some very bad experiences, our Wolf.
Today I order some Debbi Bliss Baby Cashmerino for two hats from Jimmy Beans. This is the pattern. It's from Headhuggers. The Debbi B is in a truly delicious apple red, and a lovely blue called "Ocean", as in "the deep blue waters of ..."
Good night.. Except for the 2 AM car driving by with Juvenile delinquents throwing the odd fire cracker or two into front yards, I think it will be a quiet night. Tomorrow a sock piccie and a peek at what I've been reading. If I wake up breathing, they shall be posted.
Don't work too hard in the heat! Just take it easy if you can! Anyone out there who cannot put it off, at least play in the hose and sprinklers with the kids!
Hi L.
ReplyDeleteShall we argue about whether it's hotter there or here?!! Hehehe
I posted a pic on my FB page, proving it hit 42, FORTY TWO CELCIUS today, and that's not factoring in the humidity! Our AC is having one heck of a time keeping up.
Oh my well, you are very much hotter there than ANY firecracker, Karen. We have having a cool summer so far. July is usually fairly cool here but Oh Doctor! just wait until August set in. We usually roast!
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of Roasting, the whole Eastern Seaboard seems to be hot, hot, hot! I'm really sorry because there is nothing worse than being too hot. The cold you can bundle up for, mostly. Heat, there is no escape unless you can go way up into the tundra, like where there is still ice! I'll bet your AC is suffering. Wow, that is hot! I bet even the Angels are losing their feathers in this heat.
