"Everyone can master a Grief but he who has it”

Greed is an incredibly contagious disease 🦠 And, it’s a shame when anyone catches it.

Thankful Thursday Post: Growing your own.

Sometimes I am thankful that I live where I do.  If I want to, I can grow my own tobacco, or even two Weed plants- the forbidden kind.  Since both of us are non-smokers it's not likely I will grow either of these plants.

But, I can make wine and/or beer.  Making beer and wine used to be illegal.  But we changed that law!  See?  Democracy!  The people didn't like the Prohibition Era Laws, like the ones that still ban Pot,  and they got the Laws changed!  Power to the People!

And because we live in San Diego, we can have five chickens ( no roosters but that's ok) and two mini goats as pets. All this on an urban lot.  Also, the city has stopped whining about grey water capture, because of the drought.  So, we can now save as much gray water as possible and use it for the garden.

Freedom.  Isn't it grand?  Happy Gardening from California!

Now, some links where you can see some beautiful gardens.

San Diego Water Saving Gardens Page  This is the California Water Authority page.

This is the garden I want to create in my side yard.  It's a Kensington garden from a link to Cuyamaca College's Water Conservation Garden Page.  Go down towards the bottom and you will see THIS link.
