I love all the sentient beings, but am especially fond of, and thankful for, the beautiful bugs. Life on Earth can literally not go on without the insects. They do the heavy lifting for the Earth's recycling system.
Here is one that flies. We found it's delicate and desiccated body on the RV dashboard. It's a very small insect that I used to call a Mosquito Hawk. It's actually a Crane Fly. They are harmless so please let them live if you encounter one. They don't bite but are so delicate they are easily injured by handling them. I gently catch them in a tissue and release them outside.
