Saturday 9: Him or Me, What's it Gonna Be?...

Welcome to Saturday 9. What we've committed to our readers is that we will post 9 questions every Saturday. Sometimes the post will have a theme, and at other times the questions will be totally unrelated. Those weeks we do "random questions," so-to-speak.We encourage you to visit other participants posts and leave a comment. Because we don't have any rules, it is your choice. We hate rules. We love memes, however, and here is today's meme.

Saturday 9: Him or Me -- What's It Gonna Be? (1967)

Unfamiliar with this week's tune? Hear it here.

1) In this song, a man pleads with his girlfriend to make up her mind. Do you consider yourself decisive? No, but in interactions,  I'm much more of a contemplative.  That's why relatives think I'm a "quiet" one.

Since this song is all about either/or, we're using that as our theme this Saturday ...

2) Choose a condiment: Catsup or mustard?
I don't care for catsup, but very much love mustards.

3) Choose a sci-fi series: Star Wars or Star Trek?
Love the Trekkers..

4) Choose your spy: James Bond or Jason Bourne?
Since I've never read a single Ludlam novel, it's James Bond.

5) Choose your winter sport: Football or hockey?
I like Football best.  Being a West coastie, it's likely cultural.

6) Choose your breakfast: Pancakes or waffles?
Yummie Belgian Waffles

7) Choose your side: French fries or potato chips?
Hard choice, this...But I am in love with Ruffles Potato Chips

8) Choose your chore: Washing dishes or doing laundry?
It's always laundry.  Mr. Z does the kitchen, I do laundry
9) Choose your next door neighbors: Munsters or Addams Family?
Actually I never saw many of the TV series shows.  But, since I adored Raul Julia, now well and truly dead, I pick the movie, "The Addams Family".  Raul Julia also played the power mad business man in the film, "Moon Over Parador".  It's insanely funny!
What's not to love?

Found this on the internet.. tres kewl..  Video is a bit long....

Thanks so much for joining us again at Saturday: 9. As always, feel free to come back, see who has participated and comment on their posts. In fact sometimes, if you want to read & comment on everyone's responses, you might want to check back again tomorrow. But it is not a rule. We haven’t any rules here. Join us on next Saturday for another version of Saturday: 9, "Just A Silly Meme on a Saturday!" Enjoy your weekend!

HERE is the link to today's Saturday 9.  Please come on over and help our sweet (but self diagnosed) Crazy Sam celebrate the 500th post!!  And find the Linkie to read other participant's offerings.

    1. Isn't it a kick in head?? lol Ah, I'll have to locate that other movie, unless it's" Dave" which we have and love to watch. I can't wait to get the knitting started in order to watch more old movies!

  2. I loved that video! Thank you. The narrator brings up a point that always bothered me about the Munsters -- how do a monster and a vampire give birth to a werewolf? (As if that was the only thing that strained credibility.)

  3. Ha! That is a valid point. Glad you liked the video. It explained a lot more about the Munsters, something I never saw, than the Addams Family. Mother liked to watch the Addams family. Morticia could get her laughing.

  4. I preferred the Addams family show but figured the Munsters would be better neighbors.

I saw a few bumble bees on Wednesday and thought of you! (Your blog badge Friends of the Bees)

    1. They would be better neighbors, those Munsters. Those two Addams kids are seriously dangerous! lol
Thank you for the nice thought about bees. It stays touch and go for them 365 and 24/7.

  6. Mustard is supposed to be good for leg cramps. That is the only reason I can think to eat it.

    1. So that's why I don't have those. I really love all sorts of mustard, even that neon yellow stuff at the ball parks.

  7. I loved Raul Julia and was so sad when he died way before his time. He was a wonderful Gomez, but he was wonderful in everything!

Yes, Ruffles! I'm in love with them, too.

    Happy Saturday!

    1. Happy New week Joy. It's getting hot out here so maybe Spring is finally swathing the country, yay!
Raul Julia will always be that comic/sinister/madman business tycoon in "Moon Over Parador". God rest his soul.
