I came across an article on Karl Marx in the New York Times recently. The link is HERE
No matter what you've been taught in school, this is worth your time to read.
One of the important things about Marx is that he was NOT the author of the Stalinist State Capitalism. That personage was Stalin, a Monster who established an extremely well oiled machine for producing wealth for himself and his cronies when he finally found a landing place.
This article might surprise people in that it shows what happens when a country, or the wealthy anywhere, ignore or disregard workers, the third leg of the triangular economic equation of Adam Smith.
As Seneca said:
To the Toupeé: You are good at firing people. Some might say it's your only real talent.

"A hungry People listens not with reason, nor cares for justice nor is bent by any prayers"

I suppose that is what made him a household name. The words "You're fired!" may come back to haunt him.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, and this guy knows a lot about Show Biz.... "Wizard of OZ"? And, if these words do come back and blow up his submarine, it really can't happen soon enough, My Friend. ;o)
