Trish, yellow roses are my favorite, too. It took a long time to settle on Sunflare, chosen for it's bright pure yellow. The buds and quarter open blooms with their smallish ruffles helped it make the cut. It doesn't have much fragrance though.
DH is a great camera man and understands the camera better than I do, though he hardly ever gets his hands on it. I'm a camera hog.
The rose was lighted by a shaft of late afternoon sun. Oh yes, Del, I think it's very romantic, too. :)
