These moist winds are our friends here in San Diego. This was taken 15 minutes ago. If another Santa Ana doesn't start up at the weekend, we will be OK.
Today was our 45th Wedding Anniversary. DH and I went to our favorite hamburger joint for dinner, and then we chugged over to JoAnn's for me to snag some 50% off threads. He paid and picked up the bag. When he handed me the bag he said, jokingly, "Happy Anniversary."
Take care, you all. This is a very dry year for practically everyone, and that's no exaggeration.
congrats on your wedding anniversery. So Zippi, what is the secret to a long lasting relationship? I'm glad you and yours survived the fires intact.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you are all safe and sound! What a scarey time for you guys. Happy Anniversary : )
ReplyDeleteOh, happy, happy anniversary!!!
ReplyDeleteWow....45 years is amazing!
I am pleased to know anyone who's been married more than 10 years these days. It seems there are few of us around any more.
I hope you had a lovely celebration.;-)
Happy Anniversary! Ahh, burgers for the Anniversary Dinner...perfect! Wishing you many more.
ReplyDeleteJudi S, Thank you, and the secret is to not strangle each other in the first 10 years! lol Actually, I feel like a miracle fell from the sky in the form of my DH. I've been so lucky and very happy. I don't know what he would say, though he may tell me soon enough. ;-)
ReplyDeleteAnon, thank you for all your good wishes. I'm hoping that we don't get anymore fires for a good while now. My stress levels were so high they couldn't be cured with margaritas, let alone chocolate by the handfuls. Just joking, but the stress is way less now. Cloudy weather and the first time I haven't heard air tankers flying.
Trish, thanks so much. See above for the reason 10 years is a good time to celebrate, heehee.. 45 is a nice long time. Luck and Grace, I say. And, yes, the burgers were delicious. ;o)
Meribeth, thanks for the wishes, and for the future ones, too. We have our fingers crossed; well, you know where the major focus goes when you hit the AARP wall. teehee Make every darn day count, by crackie!
