Knitting!

I have to get more of this yarn. It's going to make pretty socks. Yippie!

  1. I was looking at delphinium blooms this morning that were almost those exact colors. I hope I can find some for myself - either those delphiniums or the yarn.

  2. oh yes, it is! I am not much of a pink (color) fan, and I LOVE the sock i knit from the same yarn (same brand/same colorway--should i find the label and see if its the same dye lot?) SO Pretty!

  3. pretty indeed! Funny, my post on my facebook went something like this: "I've started a knitting project FIVE times, maybe I can get it right today!" Can't wait to see your socks :)

  4. To K. Oh, there are some beautiful pink flowers out there and delphiniums are one. Hope you found both the plants and the some of the yarn.

Hibiscus are another gorgeous flowering plant. I wonder what I did with those pink hibiscus seeds gathered about four years ago?

To Helen. I can tell you the dyelot, it's 6589. Gorgeous colors. I couldn't be happier if I were twins. I can't wait now to work the remainders into a pair of socks like the ones you have on your blog.

To PJ. Well, you have the sort of knitting days that I do. Lol. And of course now that I'm knitting it's turn to hot weather! I'll be knitting the heel, belatedly, tonight because in there was another sisterly meltdown, and also because of a little toe! hehe

I've lost count how many time this toe has been broken but this time it looks like a permanently wider foot is going to be in my future.

*Note to self* "Don't go barefoot through the storage room at night when you are so easily distracted by shiny objects outside."
