Tuesday Tails... and the beginning of the LIST for Inspirational Blogs.

Hello, this is Tuesday and the only tail available is one of near disaster.  Wolfie is fine but without the strong arms or a neighbor, he wouldn't have been.  A neighbor walks his Rotties, and our neighbor has warned us that his dogs do not like other dogs.  So, these two amiable dog owners, Mr.Z and Mr. X, walk their dogs with a respectful distance between them.  This usually means, the roadway is between.

Wolfie, who is an idiot, broke loose from Mr. Z's grasp, in a Herculean effort of brigandage, and charge the Rotties.  Well, in two blinks of an eye, the wolf was backed up against a brick wall, and the Mr. X was yelling, "No! No!"   His dogs obeyed - somewhat - since they had not started the fracas, but meant to finish it!  Mr. Z dashed across the street and re-asserted his alpha dog rank on an unrepentant little bundle of bristling fur.  I'm SO thankful that our neighbor is so strong, and that he is hyper alert!

Now for a few of the award winners.   One of these blogs is not being updated but it's still on the web and an inspiration to me because of two things.  It has tutorials on it for amazing little things, and some big, and it Lanea's sense of color and composition is Top Notch.

Crazy Lanea's Blog  Here are two links to one of her tutorials.

I've been reading  Bossy Little Dogs for years and years.  She inspires me with her true grit in the face of  what life handed her.  She's wonderful.

Catena's Expressions

Cinderellen's Corner

Clara's Window

I find all these women inspirational and full of the joy of life.  They are also all knitters/art crafters and artists love Animals, and they are flower lovers.  Yes, there will be couple of men on the list as well.  Science Guys, mostly.

Tomorrow, when I've had more sleep, I will find the post that started this, add several more names and shoot each blogger named, a post telling of them of it.  When I'm back from my sister's house; doggie and I are escaping all the noise and dust from the attic stuff.

Have a Boon Day!  I am out of here!

  1. I am so glad that your little doggie is okay. That happened once to me and my little doggies many years ago and we weren't so lucky! It was pit bulls who were had the misfortune to run into..

    1. Hi Paula, and thank you. I'm so sorry about your little dogs encountering pits. I've had a lab/dingo/pit mix and loved him so much, and he loved me. But he was getting aggressive as he got older and then he mauled our cat- who luckily got away. We had to have him put down, sadly, before he did anything else to, say, a child or a person or their pet. I had even taken him to K9 obedience school, and he did so well he was second in his class, too. I still miss him sometimes when memories flood in. An Aussie friend said that the Dingo in the mix is probably what did him in.

  2. So glad Wolfie wasn't hurt by those big Rotties! I always worry about confrontations like that, and it's why I almost never put my Chihuahua down in public. He's old and blind, anyway, so not at all interested in walking. I have been in Mr. X's place years ago, trying to walk big, strong dogs who weren't going to take sass from any other dogs. I hope not to ever find myself in that situation again. We did once have a pit/Dalmation mix that wouldn't even look at another dog trying to start something. He would just hold his head high and keep on trucking down the road. If only they would all behave that way!

The blog links look really interesting. Just what I need... more blogs to read! ;) Thanks for sharing - Therese

    1. Thank you Therese for your comments on my blog subjects. I try to keep in full of fun and crafty things but have a political "ranty" side sometimes.

Oh yes! Keep your baby dog up out of the way! Also, I've seen all sort of pits, mixed or otherwise, that were just the sweetest dogs and just wanted attention from people and were good with other dogs. You really have to be wise when selecting one because temperament is EVERYthing when getting any dog but especially working dogs, which pit bulls actually are. My great grandfather raised pit bulls. Once again, thank you for your comment.
