Sunday Stealing
TV Meme, part one
Welcome back to Sunday Stealing which originated on WTIT: The Blog authored by Bud Weiser. Here we will steal all types of memes from every corner of the blogosphere. Our promise to you is that we will work hard to find the most interesting and intelligent memes. We sometimes edit the original meme, usually to make it more relevant to our global players, to challenge our players, sometimes to select that meme's best questions, or simply to make it less repetitive from either this new meme or recently asked questions from a prior featured meme.

TV Meme, part one
1. TV Theme songs. Which is your favorite, and which makes you crazy enough to hit mute on the remote? Since I do watch old TV shows on Netflix, here goes. I like the theme from "Bones" a lot, and also the one from "Medium". They are similar so both are favorites equally. One that makes me crazy is harder but there's one I always mute, and that's "Yes to the Dress".
2. The Classics. What is your favorite Classic TV show? I suppose the 70's-80's is classic. The whole family liked "Major Dad". We'd turn it on just for that one.
3. What character from a Classic TV show would you like to be? I'd pick Rockford, from "The Rockford Files" - Riv Classic cars with car chases, lots of fun, and fishing, too. Not to mention living right ON the beach.
4. Can you remember a line you liked from a Classic TV show? It was a question. The Major came to visit when the teen doughters were having a slumber party. The teens were all sitting on the couch or floor watching TV with a green goo on their faces. They saw him and screamed because NO ONE should see a female with facial goo except another woman. The girls and their guests all fled, screaming, out of the room and up the stairs but not before he got to loudly query, "Night Recon?"
5. Heroes. What show featuring those who protect your country (fiction or non-fiction) is your favorite? Firefighters and Army Demolition Experts are my Heroes. I don't know of any show that features them.
6. TV Cops. Who is your favorite (past or present) TV cop? Which TV cop do you think was the most crooked, or the most inept? I don't remember watching anything fictional about police. I am loving the real life Cops in the show "The Shift". I know that's not fictional, nor is it only one individual, but I love those people. None of these guys are twisted.
7. You need to hire a bodyguard for yourself. Which TV cop do you choose? I'd hire a Marine!
8. TV Doctors. Which TV doctor would you choose to remove your appendix? Which TV doctor would you not let touch you with a 10- foot pole? The Lead in Grey's Anatomy. I don't remember the character's first name. Ten foot pole, eh? Let's see, that would probably be Doc Martin. hehe
9. TV Moms. Which TV mom would you have liked to have had for your own? Is there a TV mom you would never want as your own? Not one of them who ever they are. I had a wonderful mother.
10. TV Dads. Which TV Dad would you have most liked to have for your own dad? On the flipside, who was the TV Dad you’d have least liked to have had? A Dad for my siblings and me? Andy Griffith without any hesitation. I've already had a criminal for a paternal unit, so I'll pass on the second part, that flipside. Been there, done that.
11. Comedies. How do you feel about sitcoms? Good, wholesome fun or saccharine inanity? I think sitcoms are hilarious and BRILLIANT fun. I could never stand to watch more than two episodes of "Seinfeld", everyone's favorite one it seems like, and absolutely hated "Everyone Loves Raymond" so those are exceptions for me. I loved Frazier, and that insane Third Rock series as well as Big Bang Theory.
12. If your life was a sitcom, what would the title be? "Does Anyone Understand Life?"
13. If you went to a comedy club on amateur night, and they gave you some jokes and a microphone, would you go onstage? As long as I didn't have to ad lib, sure.
14. Reality. Are you a fan of Reality TV? What’s your “can’t miss” reality TV show (or shows), or what reality TV show do you suppose the devil plays on the TV in Hell as punishment? What does Reality TV mean? I'm clueless. If the second part of the question refers to people like the ones in Bridezilla, I'd say that's the TV in Hell punishment that the devil plays.
15. If you were given a free ticket to be on any reality show, which one would you choose? I don't want free tickets to a show where people humiliate themselves or others. Is reality something like Dr. Phil?
Now, for the rest of the day, I'm knitting and staying put. I'm on my best behavior. DH does not need anymore worry in his life at the moment. Saturday 9: Stuck on You (2012)

1) This upbeat song is from a CD called The Bright Side. What is brightening your world this fine Saturday? A light this morning and the Netlix this evening. And The Great Spirit, all the time.
2) Our featured artist Meiko sings, "You are the one I can see having fun with ...". When is the last time you laughed hard? Who were you with? With the DH when we were watching something.
3) She also sings, "I must confess when I wear this dress I feel like dancing ...". Does your mood have an impact on what you wear? Not my mood but my destination.
4) In this video, she accidentally drops one of her meatballs on the floor. Do you believe in "the five second rule," which states that if food has been on the floor less than five seconds it's still OK to eat? Or, after it hits the floor, is the next stop always the garbage? Only DH believes that, and I think it's utterly foolish.
5) Despite her exotic-sounding name, Meiko was born in Atlanta, home of the Braves. Do you plan on going to the ballpark this season? No.
6) Meiko recently posted a photo of herself in DisneyLand posing with Goofy. Who took the most recent photo of you? What were you doing? No one takes pictures of me anymore outside of the random Store security cameras. They must do so.
7) Are you stubborn? I had stubborn kicked out of me a LONG time ago. I just don't argue about anything anymore. Silence is so blissful. Why would anyone argue about anything that didn't involve the taking of a life, for instance?
8) Let's visit your bathroom: What color is your toothbrush? I have two toothbrushes and one is white and green, the other is green and white. hehe
9) Which would we find: bar soap or liquid soap? Bar soap on one side, liquid soap on the other. Sometimes I like a pretty bar of soap on one side of the sink.

Five Minute Friday and Friday5, bonus questions too. sock progress
Let's get the knitting over with first: Wednesday was a sort of messed up day. I was higher than a kite because we were going to visit my sister, and Mr. Z was "at the plate" to try to load Windows7 on BIL computer. BIL was at work clear the heck to the Mexican Border yesterday and though I trusted Mr. Z to deal with anything computer-wise, I had the feeling that it wasn't going to go right. BIL is not truly computer savvy. So, I picked up my knitting, and almost immediately BOTCHED THE BEEJEEBERS out of it. Now that put me practically all the way up my tree, I set the knitting aside and let it cool off.
So, I picked it all out yesterday, and now it is ok. OK, sort of; as I studied it, noticed a tiny waggle in some rows done back a year ago when I was certifiably brainless. Well, with an ongoing infection for a year, my brain was a little swollen, I must say, to excuse myself from any latent criticism that might be floating around the blogesphere.

This Week's Word is: Friend
Friend:
I'm lucky to have them - friends. I've lived in this city for nearly a half century, I'm a progressive liberal, and friendships are hard to come by. I'm always the one compelled to watch my words. The true friends I do have mostly don't live here. By true I mean ones who accept you and don't try to brainwash or bully you. Those are just the facts of life for me. I have one friend who is life long. She lives in Turkey. We used to, before so much censorship and lack of freedom befell the world, trade a lot of political satire. Then things got not so funny anymore. I do have beaucoup online friends, for whom I am very grateful, and whom I care a lot about. And, somehow, that is enough at my age.
Friends, I just can't think of anything else, sorry to be negative but there you are. Without this blog and people I've met through it, I really wouldn't have any friends.

1. Those silly TV programs showcasing supposedly funny videos often feature unexpected blows to someone’s Man Zone (you know, crotch shots). How amusing do you find these videos? If it doesn't happen for real, it's funny. If it actually does happen to some poor sod, well, it's not.
2. Athletes today often talk about being “in the zone,” attaining that state of mind where everything is both automatic and excellent. When did you last find yourself in the zone? In the hospital. I can put myself into a trance and seem like I'm asleep but I'm not. That scares people or makes them think I'm lying about NEVER BEING ABLE TO SLEEP IN A #@*!;#$ hospital.
3. What time zone do you live in, and is there anything especially good or bad about it? I like living in the Pac Zone. The whole West Coast is in it, so there's no remembering when to call someone in the Family. Of course, my DD was once going to try out New Hampshire in the dead of winter, and did go to Phili to live for a bit, as did her sisters. But they all missed the California Sun. I would like to call some of my friends who live half way around the world, as it would be fun to call into the future, or back into the past. Is that too Star Trekkie?
4. In the Star Trek universe, a neutral zone is an area between claimed territories in space where bordering governments agree not to tread (else war is declared). Where in your personal or professional life are the neutral zones? I don't like to be interrupted when I'm counting my knitting stitches.
5. Where can you get a really good calzone?* Well my dear, you make it at home. You just practice making the bread dough. Calzone are the Italian equivalent of an South American Empanada or a Cornish Pasty, or even an American turnover. Yummy stuff! Little tasty pies!

1.What did you dissect in high school. I took Physical Science and we didn't dissect anything once living.
2.If you’re a neat person, what’s something you’re messy about? If you’re a messy person, what’s something you’re neat about? I'm usually very tidy and organized but then I got sick in my 50's. Still trying to run a business and keep up when I couldn't made me messy. I'd say getting sick made me messy.
3.What did you like best about high school geometry (the subject, not the teacher, classmates, or whatever)?
I liked Everything about high school geometry. It was the first time I felt in control of a MATH! I got A+ in both semesters. The thing just made perfect, logical sense to me.
4.What item at a salad bar gets you the most excited? Pickled Beets! Yumm!
5.Do some brands of bottled water taste better than others? The naturally carbonated ones taste better to me. Sorry, it's been a long time since I've had any, so don't remember the brand only the shapely green bottles. Or were they blue??
6.If you could be employed in one of the technical jobs in film-making, what would you choose? CAD or, Wordrobe.
7.Which character from The Wizard of Oz do you best relate to? Toto, the uncomplaining, completely loyal and sweet little fellow who was always by Dorothy's side.
8.What animal have you seen in the wild that most people see only in books, in other visual media, or in zoos? Pikas and Bobcats and Lots and Lots of Birds.
9.What’s the greatest height you’ve looked down from? The Rocky Rim of a ledge at Grand Canyon. We went out to watch a group of College students who were counting raptors passing through the canyon lands.
UPDATE on the Knitting: it is coming along. Right now the leg looks like a little model of Nuclear Reactor when standing up on the needles. When I get to the heel, I'm going to have a Margarita!

Thankful Thursday...the real Thursday Thing
I'm thankful to have my very own Ewok:
One who keeps me from freaking out over the stress of it all. I can pick him up like a little 18 month old baby, holding him up in front of me and bouncing him on my knees. He doesn't mind at all.
Sewing angst has struck. This series of pictures says it all. How will I ever turn all this into useful stuff for other people?
I have started clearing the deck for actual sewing projects to ensue. I hope that I've not let it go too long.
Wish me luck. Cheer me on? At least it will be tidy. I'm doing what I was told to do in a Dream: "Clean Up!" I really do feel lucky to have this problem, but it also has to be solved.

Sneaking in a Thankful Thursday....
Before I toddle off to watch more "Call the Midwife".
I am thankful that the doc gave me an all clear to go back to fitness, but I still am not allowed to lift over 20 pounds. Every time I lift Wolfie up I'm glad he just made it under the wire, as one of the nurses told me on the last day I stayed in her "Hostel". hehe I'm thankful for those hard working Nurses and their CNAs who helped me so much! I'll never forget them.

Monday Music: Journey, singing "Don't Stop Believin"? Tort report, plus some knitting chat; odd flower.
All the songs I wanted to put up have flown my brain. But I did want to do something from Journey, so here goes. My favorite song from them. A little escape music for us, eh?
ROCK ON FOREVER JOURNEY!
Journey! I will always love this band.
Med report:
I see the surgeon soon for post op chat. Hopefully, he'll give the all clear for fitness and weight training. One stubborn little scar is not healed and looks a little red. But I'm thankful for the rest of them that are healed up! I've also lost 8 pounds from being sick. I fully intend to keep off these pounds with due diligence with the new forever diet.
Knitting report: I've knit this morning until my left hand sent signals to quit -sadly only two rows. =(
But, happily, yesterday I found the slip of paper that I'd written with the pattern progression on it and all finished rows. I'm very glad the other sock is finished. I knit, pattern only, on the cuff and stockinette on the foot, since patterning on a foot, too me, is just a little irritating. I know, it's "Princess and the Pea" stuff.
The yarn is a Sundara in "Glacial" that a very kind sock knitter sent to me; a time that must be years ago now. I had never knit with Sundara's yarn, and loved the color - a very pale ice blue, and my friend had some that she didn't like because the color was so pale. I LOVE it! It is a tiny bit more blue than the snap under artificial light shows. Thank you, kind friend of mine!
Tort Report: Both babies spend time outside in their wire pen, eating like horses. They get grasses and roses just like the big ones. The roses have blown so DH clips them and drops them for the torts who always eat roses as a big treat, like watermelon and strawberries. Roses have a lot of calcium for good bones.
Here is Poko Ono, getting some sun while she contemplates a "Speed Bump" in her way to the great Shade Garage this Spring.
Flowers are everywhere but this Tillanzia has such a tiny, unusually beautiful flower. To my eye, the bloom on the left looks just like a Laser Ruby in a gold setting. I think it's beautiful.
Well, more news tomorrow. I wish you all a wonderful week, filled with as many little joys as is possible. Americans are sort of trained on the future and all, but daily lives need to be enriched with awareness of tiny Joys and small opportunities to help others - four-legged and winged as well as bipeds.

The Easter Meme

What are your Easter traditions?
We now have no Easter Traditions.
Do you hard boil and decorate eggs?
We used to. It was last year that we finally decided that we'd do it no more.
How do you decorate your home for Easter?
I have ceramic bunnies I've made over the years. And a glass basket with ceramic eggs goes on the table.
Do you make/buy special outfits for yourself and your kids on Easter?
I used to make some from time to time. Not for me, but sometimes for the kids.
What is your favorite Easter dish?
I used to like to make Greek Easter Bread.
When did you learn the truth about the Easter Bunny?
Is the Easter Bunny bad? I haven't heard anything about him. Does he secretly smoke grass? Steal things for other holidays to give to his kids? Tell me!
Do you spend Easter at home, on vacation, or with family?
We used to have almost legendary Easter egg hunts, and they were lots of fun. Seven little grandkids can make quite a crowd!
First one up on Easter morning?
Always, DH is up ahead of me, though when the Easter bunny came we both helped him hide the four baskets.
Go to mass or church?
Go to mass or church?
We used to go to Silent Meeting, with a brunch after wards. I keep silent service with myself now.
What are your favorite Easter hymns and/or choir arrangements?
I really don't have any.
How many Easter egg hunts does your family usually participate in?
One, when it was on.
Do you make deviled eggs out of leftover Easter eggs?
Oh yes. Love those. We actually make them every year but not this year.
Are you tired of eggs by the end of the Easter Season?
No. Eggs are a favored food.
Are Peeps good or gross?
Peeps are cute but tasteless We have some in the freezer. I was hoping to make a couple of frozen rabbits fight a duel in the microwave. This may still happen.
What company makes the best chocolate for Easter time?
I'm not sure, probably Godiva or See's. See's makes lovely things for Easter.
Lots of candy or not?
Not.
What is your favorite Easter candy?
I like the big Easter Eggs from See's.
Do you find plastic Easter grass hidden in places for months after Easter is over?
No. I do have some hidden from Myself somewhere in the sewing stuff.
What’s your favorite color for fake grass?
I like the iridescent stuff. I also like green crinkled paper Easter grass. That's good all year long for resting fruits in baskets to ripen.
Knitting report: I've knit two rows on Jane's Hedgerows. One sock was already finished and the other got caught up in an inadvertent second sock Syndrome. I may be cured. I'm sure feeling better since the infection is gone along with my now "Missing Piece".

Here goes for the word "Glue", which is amazingly good for me this week:

Glue holds my crafting life together. I must use about 40 different types of glue in that ambition. But a new glue entered my life, most recently, when I was glued back together with it! I don't know what this amazing glue is but it's still working.
As for other glues, the type of human bonds. family and friends are the constant delight that I try to stay glued to, if only in thoughts, for the whole of the day. Bringing belovéd people to mind is one of the best things about being alive. The joy of blogging is that you meet so many other people who are working their way through lives and traumas much like you are, and you can pray for them, think about them and find joy in their triumphs.
Crafting clue has gotten to some sort of threshold of all things that hold my life together. There is the the oldest clue, animal clues which I use littel anymore, glues that you can make yourself for special older projects, and also there is wood glue, and ancient formula that is still highly effective. I think there is only thirty seconds left, so I have to mention flour and water. Our ancestors did amazing things with such glue.

What were the circumstances surrounding your last reception of unwanted attention from strangers?

I'm very approachable. I very much feel like all others are my brothers and sisters. I mean that's the way I respond to them. That being said, people need to be mindful to give others their space.
So, the only incident I can remember was when I was about 30, and DH and I were taking a night class for making picture frames. We had one class at the teacher's shop. It was in a sort of "iffy" place in town, but it was well lit and a lovely place. Suddenly I looked up and there were two young men, standing right next to me, who were not from the class. They had wandered in off the street.
I looked up, and not being afraid, I just smiled at each, and we all said hello. They asked me what was going on, and I said that we were learning how to make frames. These two young men looked around at others. They addressed the teacher, but some sort of tension of the teacher, a tall and sturdy fellow, alerted me to his fear. I just remained calm and answered questions, they never felt like a threat to me. I was meeting souls, just as I'd trained myself to do. Only later did I realize that it was a pretty tense situation. The teacher/shop owner never took us back there.
How do you feel about being flirted with? I think of it as very charming, and gallant. At my age, it's fun. Since I'm still a kid inside, it's like school girl things. DH sometimes flirts a little with me, and that's even more fun.
Whose attention would you like a little more of? Who? Hmm. I wish DH and I could do things more together. I think now maybe we can!
How’s your attention span? In some ways it's lengthening, and in some ways is very much shortened. It depends on how deeply I want to delve into some problem or idea.
Who in your life seems to crave the most attention? That would be the furbaby, Wolfie. He's already had his forehead glued together, here.....

He is a rescue pup whom no one ever taught to play, whom they must have beaten and ignored as well. So, of course, he loves cuddles and treats, going for rides in the car with the Alpha Dogs, and those long walks with the Alpha Male.

For Wordless Wednesday - pathetic, absolutely awful moon shot
I know this , but we did see the whole thing up to the whole glorious Blood Moon at the backdoor. I tried steadying the camera on the door frame but from the dance of Mars in the upper right, you can see it was only partially successful. HERE is a whole wondrous event from start to end.
Have the hoof up, and dug out the Jane's Hedgerows. *sighs* There was a time I could do that pattern from memory.

Cleaning up my act: It feels good to get rid of things - very liberating. Spring cleaning will last a LOT longer this year! There will be Summer, Fall and Winter Cleaning to follow.

4. Who among your high school friends was the first to get his or her own car? Steve, I think. He had a lovely chopped sedan. My first was a truck.

13. What services (as opposed to goods) do you pay for at your preferred shopping mall? I get my watch batteries at a jeweler there. We've been to see films at the big theater there but not recently.
14. What’s a store you’ve never been inside at your preferred shopping mall? The phone store.
15. What kind of store would you most welcome in your preferred shopping mall? My sister and I would love to have Macy's back. I guess they are gone for good, though. Macy's Christmas sales were legendary!

Being there.....oooo TV!
I'll Be There for You
1) This song begins with, "So no one told you life was gonna be this way …" What do you wish you knew five years ago about your life now? Generally, I don't live my life this way, so taking it the way it comes is my more natural approach to life.
2) This is, of course, the theme from Friends, which is frequently shown back-to-back on TVLand and TBS. Have you ever "binge-watched" a show, catching episode after episode? You bet, but not "Friends"... yet... hmmm... I need to find that. We've avidly watched, "Frazier", "Third Rock", "Lost", "Hoarders", "Big Bang Theory", and the insane, "'Til Death".
3) On the show, Monica and Rachel shared a beautiful 2BR/2BA Soho apartment with a private balcony. It's estimated that such a pad would cost at least $3500/month in today's real-life New York. Describe your dream home. A big Craftsman House near the Harbor in Santa Cruz. That baby is mine if I become a billionaire.
4) Of the six main characters, only Chandler was an only child. Do you have any siblings? A sister and a brother.

Have you ever been hooked on a daytime drama? No. But I can still hear Sesame Street echoing off the walls from time to time. lol
9) The band who performed this song, The Rembrandts, took their name from the famous Dutch painter. Can you see any artwork from where you're sitting right now? Tell us about it (and yes, a school painting by your 7-year-old nephew counts). I can see a framed Kennan Ward photo of the Northern Lights. He's an amazing photographer who has a studio in Santa Cruz. You should see his polar bear shots. Wish I had one of those.

Friday Five Minutes:
Paint:
I can only find last week's prompt, so I'll do that one. Last Friday, I was in surgery, so "Paint" was on my mind anyway because a week of bed rest with nothing whatsoever to eat left me a lot od time to think about favorite things! Paint is one of them! I'm an oil painter, and though it didn't get done this time arond in life, what the heck. Things worked out for the best anyway. I have four wonderful daughters!
Color vision being what it is, excitement at colors takes the baby's breath away. We learn early to react to it, and the sooner we can get our hands into something of color, usually our baby food, that's what we do! I can remember how my daughters loved painting, and their daddy even made themn an easel. We would all paiint together from time to time , too. Even DH. Painting walls is almost as fun as painting pictures. I love to watch the lovely unsullied paint go up over the old stuff. It's exciting to watch the transformational power of new colors on walls as it lifts my spirits. As soon as I can I am going to be painting te walls of this house! This is short because I'm hunting and pecking on the netbook while watching over Wolfie who is not feeling well at the moment - a bit of tummy troubles.

1. What field trips, one from elementary school and one from high school, do you remember most fondly?
Going to the La Brea Tar pits is a must do field trip for L.A. County grade school kids. I haven't seen the place since it was renovated but it's pretty impressed in my memory! Field trips in either of my high schools were nonexistent but we did take trips for GAA to meets at other schools. Those were completely lovely.
2. How does your handwriting today differ from your handwriting in high school?
My hand writing is the same, if I take my time with it. We were actually taught handwriting, cursive, but I've heard that it's not a requirement anymore in some places. I think it should be taught as long as all legible styles are acceptable.
3. What let’s-pretend game did you most enjoy when you were a child?
We always played Cowboys and Indians. Since we had woods to play in, it made it really fun.
4. If you had to take the name of any one-named celebrity, whose would work best?
I'm not up on current celebs so don't know. Actually, my first name is a celeb's first name, though it was my mother's nickname as well.
5. A brain, a princess, an athlete, a basket case, and a criminal: Which of these roles will you take, and which friends fill the rest?
I'd like to play a criminal mind, or a basket case, I guess, in a black comedy. Princess might go to an ex-BF of mine who was an only child. A brain, hmmmm... I don't have enough friends to fill this quite odd question!

Thankful Thursday: Antibiotics
So, where would we be without them?
These little soldiers can march into spaces so tiny that ordinary single cell marauders have no chance. Sadly all the good and the bad buggies succumb to them. But, one of them is causing problems. Waiting for Doctor to call.
I've been taking both Antibiotics and Probiotics for nearly two weeks, and have no idea how they behave as neighbors. My guess is that the Pros die in their billions every day. But that's modern life! Armies everywhere!
Pay attention to what the pharmacist says, as they actually know the medicines better than a lot of doctors do. It's their job.

Lonely little Wolfie..and some ranty angst memories of times past.
Firstly. let me say I'm catching up to all of your blogs asap.
Wolfie report: Wolfie had a sort of bad week of longings and high spirits and "poof she's gone again" experiences. It's a good thing he forgives me. He slept part of the night, one of the Poof days, on my side of the bed.
I wonder what little children, who can't really be properly told about an event, think when their mom does a flit. I sort of know because my eldest daughter had to go home with Mr. Z's parents one year when her "Irish Twin" was being born. There was no way that her Daddy could care for her at the time. He worked nights, and she was only a year old. Unbelievably, he had decided to paper the bedrooms, too, which then extended the stay. So, my tiny girl spent three weeks away from him and from me. When my sister-in-law told me that every time someone came near her crib she would stand up and say, "Mamma?", it was heartbreaking. My poor baby.
When Elle finally got to come home again three weeks later, she pushed me away and refused to take a bottle from me while I held her. I think it may have permanently damaged our relationship which had been going better and better. When thinking of it still, it's heartbreaking. Anyway, I do know what it's like to try to repair the breach that's created when a tiny child is carried away by not quite strangers for, what is for her, "God Knows Where", and doesn't get to come home for three weeks.
I'm still recovering from surgery so there's not much about animals for Tuesday Tails.
I SO WANT THAT COOKIE!

The For Old Times' Sake Meme
When was the last time you swam in a pool? Sadly so long ago that I can't recall just when. I'm an ocean swimmer.
Do you like to party? Doesn't everyone?
Describe the shirt you're wearing? I have on a long knit nightgown over a white silk turtleneck, and over that, is a sweater.
What is one feature film that you don't like? I can name a genre I don't like. I don't like futuristic warfare films populated by monsters, with metallic parts, who fly. Brrrr! I adored Star Wars and Star trek.
Would people describe you as happy? I think they would.
Sleep with or without clothes on? Hon, I'm 71. Those nekkid days are long gone.
Does it bother you if people swear around you? I really don't like it much but I'll move rather than make an issue of it. That is unless little kids are around. I'll defend them against really grossly, foul language.
Do you prefer Wednesdays or Thursdays? You can't have one with out the other, though I do wish that the week was an even numbered construction. Why not 8 days? That would mean three days off a week for busy people who never see their kids. It could be the sports day.
Like to travel? Yes, but on the ground.
Think you're attractive? idon'tthinkso.... no no
Are or were you a good student? Of course. School was a way out of poverty in those days.
Are you currently happy? Yes. I'm feeling so much better now.
Colored or black-and-white photo? I love both actually. Both have their mystic and artistic quality.
Do you consider yourself the life of the party? No. I lurk along the shrubbery.
Do you drink? No, and that's why I'm not the life of a party. lol
Do you make fun of people? No. It's cruel, and my mother told me so.
Do you think dreams eventually come true? No. I think they change or adapt as people go along in life.
Favorite fictional character? I loved Amarente, that crazy old man in Milagro. Then, I watched John Malkovitch in "Red" - the guy who likes to blow things up.
Go to the movies or rent? Netflix
Have you ever moved? Of Course. I'm 71.
Have you ever stolen anything? Yes, when I was a kid I took something from a playmate. I vowed that I would not steal anything again in my life. It's just so unkind.
How's the weather right now? Sunny and clear but for three days we had rolling Squalls, the most beautiful weather on Earth.
Last time you cut your hair? Last summer. I'm letting it grow out long enough to be cut by someone else IF I decide they can be trusted with it.
Last person you talked to on the phone? Our Fearless Leader of the ceramics club. She regaled my about the time she had HER gallbladder out and was only down for four days AND she had it out the old fashioned way. She was 23. Duh! Anyway, she is a riot.
Last time you showered? This morning! Gloriously Clean!
Loud or soft music? Both! I am a rocker at heart but love romantic slow songs and choral music especially Christmas time. I love Classical music. Music is something worth sticking around for. That and animals, and family, too. come to think of it. hehehe
McDonalds or Burger King? ew!
Night or day? I am happy now that I've gotten them straightened out, so I love them both.
Number of pillows? About four, counting a body pillow which I LOVE! Yes, the screaming pink sort of love!.
Piano or guitar? I wanted to learn to play our piano. Three of the kids did. But my first love is the guitar. I played that for quite a few years.
Current longing? I'm starting to long for a lot of foods, Tbone steaks with crisp fat, etc.
Current disappointment? That my scars aren't heart shaped? They will just be dimpled and that's ok. hehe
Current annoyance? I'm not annoyed in the least. I'm home and feeling like a tiger again.
Last thing you ate? Cereal and a banana.
Last thing you bought? I bought a new used book from an Amazon seller. Yay books!

When was the last time you swam in a pool? Sadly so long ago that I can't recall just when. I'm an ocean swimmer.
Do you like to party? Doesn't everyone?
Describe the shirt you're wearing? I have on a long knit nightgown over a white silk turtleneck, and over that, is a sweater.
What is one feature film that you don't like? I can name a genre I don't like. I don't like futuristic warfare films populated by monsters, with metallic parts, who fly. Brrrr! I adored Star Wars and Star trek.
Would people describe you as happy? I think they would.
Sleep with or without clothes on? Hon, I'm 71. Those nekkid days are long gone.
Does it bother you if people swear around you? I really don't like it much but I'll move rather than make an issue of it. That is unless little kids are around. I'll defend them against really grossly, foul language.
Do you prefer Wednesdays or Thursdays? You can't have one with out the other, though I do wish that the week was an even numbered construction. Why not 8 days? That would mean three days off a week for busy people who never see their kids. It could be the sports day.
Like to travel? Yes, but on the ground.

Are or were you a good student? Of course. School was a way out of poverty in those days.
Are you currently happy? Yes. I'm feeling so much better now.
