Beautiful Dhaka Cloth: The article
This photo and article are either from the BBC, or an Atlantic Magazine Article that is linked.
I’m working from the iPad, which has its quirks and limits. I will always be pushing, fearlessly, against its little arbitrary boundaries.
Enjoy! Take care of yourselves. This virus has many, many tricks up its sleeves. Beware, my lovelies.
I’ll hope to be see you on Saturday for the meme. Much love ❤️

But that means so much more than a hotter land mass.. This interactive map shows what's happening in the Atlantic Ocean, to the huge Gulf Stream, and what it means.
What's happening with the Atlantic Ocean Gulf stream
The Trend toward HUGE in pick-ups
Urban Assault Vehicles used to be camouflage-painted junkers that were more a joke than a practice. Now they are a trend. But, without the camo, I’d bet you can get them in that color if you order it.
One or two of these Behemoths slammed into peaceful gathering of protestors, and they killed someone’s daughter before the pandemic deadened the world to tragedy. Lest we forget, we are all Americans and we need to dial back the aggression and heal the country.
The Truth
This blog is changing because I’m tired of bullies. My mother taught me the importance of speaking truth to power and to never lie. Authenticity can get you into trouble with bullies. They have no moral compass but think they have all the power. But they simply do not. The truth does. Always speak it.
The Knitting report: Starting a new pair of short fingered gloves. They won’t be green! My old eyes ๐ need halogen light to see the stitches! ๐ Anyway, I’m “healing the heart” with them. Hope you all can be just as happy as is possible. Ta!
Bullies just used to beat you up in real life, but there are online bullies who think they can make a person wish they'd never started a blog, joined the notorious Facebook, or have any presence at all on the internet.
Sometimes it's just that their brain is coming unhinged, Age, Mental Illness, personal tragedy that makes them want to hurt someone for no reason other than it makes themselves feel more powerful, in control, and that they like being mean in a semi anonymous way. Usually they are arrogant and think they know ALL there is to know about any given subject.
So, the defense is to step back, take stock of the time you spend on the web, and decide if it's really worth it.
This is what to do if one starts trolling your blog or your presence anywhere, grade school, church, university, anywhere one latches onto your heart and soul. Remember, they are the sick ones. Just remember that bullies are always petty, less powerful if you deprive them of air or space inside your head, or any number of other tactics that keep you focused on your OWN personal goals built during the years that you normally have to form yourself.
HERE is a good site that tells how to keep your strength and belief in yourself, and also in the truth of existence and it's purpose. We all have a lot more strength than we imagine.

1 Do You Sleep With Your Closet Doors Open Or Closed?
Yes.. both, half open and half is closed, it slides you see. It's closed if I remember to do so, but mostly I forget. There are no bad dreams in my closet, they go outside to watch the stars.
2 Do You Have Freckles? Yes, but not as many as when I was younger.
3 Can You Whistle? Yes
4 Last Song You Listened To? "Clementine", in the credits for a show called, "The Outlander".
5 Name Something That Relaxes You. I meditate on "being HERE now".
6 What Sounds Are Your Favourite? I like to hear little children playing. I like to hear guitar's playing, and I like to hear birds singing. I like the sound of the voices of people I love.
7 What Do You Wear To Bed? A long-sleeved, long T-shirt-like night gown.
8 Do You Sing In The Shower? not any more.
9 What Books Are You Reading? Several at the moment.
10 Do You Believe In Magic? I believe in unexplored and unseen realities. Like different dimensions.
11 Can You Curl Your Tongue? Yes, and that indicates something or other - Northern European Heritage, I believe. But my SHOVELED incisors and maybe the pointy eye teeth say, "Native American", "loud and clear".
12 Have You Ever Caught A Butterfly? When I was young my Bro and I would catch skippers, a butterfly. I don't catch them anymore, but I have had them land on me.
13 Name One Movie That Made You Cry. Movies don't usually make me cry. Documentaries make me cry. Movies are make believe. However, this series, "The OUtlander" made me cry tonight when someone talked about the last time they saw their child. That made me cry...
14 Peanuts Or Sunflower Seeds? I love peanuts but also like, slightly less, Sunflower seeds. What I really like is Pepitas, which are the shelled, toasted, and salted seeds of a special white pumpkin, nowadays.
15 Are You A Heavy Sleeper? I'm usually a light sleeper. Maybe I SHOULD close those closet doors? ๐จ

Welcome to Saturday: 9. What we've committed to our readers is that we will post 9 questions every Saturday. Sometimes the post will have a theme, and at other times the questions will be totally unrelated. Those weeks we do "random questions," so-to-speak. We encourage you to visit other participants posts and leave a comment. Because we don't have any rules, it is your choice. We hate rules. We love memes, however, and here is today's meme!
Saturday 9: Too Ra Loo Ra Loo Ral (1944)
Selected because this Wednesday is St. Patrick's Day. Unfamiliar with this week's song? Hear it here.
1) Bing Crosby sings that he learned this song from his mother. Can you recall a song from your early childhood? This one. I remember Perry Como singing it but not Bing Crosby.
2) Bing was NBC's first choice to play TV's Columbo. He turned down the role because, by that time, he was in his 60s and just didn't feel like working a full week anymore. Peter Falk eventually got the part and played Det. Columbo for 10 seasons. Do you enjoy detective stories, whether on TV, in movies or in books? Interesting factoid about Columbo. And, yes, I do like detective stories. I like all sorts of puzzles, and that's pretty much what detective stories are.
3) Bing could trace his family back to County Cork. While it's said that on St. Patrick's Day everyone is Irish, can you honestly claim Irish heritage? Yes, though the McCoy's (McCay's) had migrated to Ireland in 1765 or so, after building a small fleet of boats, and then left for America sometime there after, settling in the Cumberland Gap area.
Mother told me that we are Scot's Irish, but it was well known that the clans used to travel back and forth. Sometimes they are called, "Black Irish", which I could never figure out, other than maybe they had black hair.
My grandmother had black hair, like a raven's wing, and great big Blue eyes. Mr. Z is one quarter Irish - "off the boat", they say, and his grandmother's family settling in New York. ;o) The Scot's are related to the Picts. The Picts are still alive and well, and living in Americkee...Speaking of the Picts and the Scots, even the Vikings were a little afraid of them.. Isn't it fun to find out that at least some of your ancestors were BADASS? Read about it HERE
4) Other than St. Patrick, what is Ireland famous for? Whiskey? lol And woven wools.
5) "The wearing o' the green" is one way to celebrate St. Patrick's Day. Will you wear something green in honor of the day? I always do.
6) Have you ever had green beer? I've had it once. It really wasn't that special.
7) Have you ever ordered a Shamrock Shake from McDonald's? Never eat there.
8) A four-leaf clover is considered good luck. Do you have a lucky charm? No. But it's interesting that my mother could find four leaf clovers like nobodies business. I'm sure she could also have found needles in haystacks.
9) Speaking of Lucky Charms, they are magically delicious. What brand of cereal is in your kitchen right now? Nice try. ๐ We don't eat, and hardly EVER ate, branded cereals. We still eat rolled oats though.

Thank you Sam, for this fun MEME every Saturday.
Thanks so much for joining us again at Saturday: 9. As always, feel free
to come back, see who has participated and comment on their posts. In
fact sometimes, if you want to read & comment on everyone's
responses, you might want to check back again tomorrow. But it is not a
rule. We haven’t any rules here. Join us on next Saturday for another
version of Saturday: 9, "Just A Silly Meme on a Saturday!" Enjoy your
weekend!
Sometimes it's possible to have some hope for the world, when people like these show up on your screen. They rescue animals in Europe.
We have people doing amazing work here in the States, as well. Animal rescue is the ONLY thing that would bring me back to this hell hole. Well, Horses and Guitars.. maybe.
Now, the real source of happiness .. people who work to rescue other beings, human and non human.
Read with caution. What I’m saying is that some parts of it are a stretch and some parts are bold ass lies about how much one party can actually do in any given four year period.
This is why we need consensus on values, and especially on human rights, and approaches to alleviate poverty in the richest God Darn Country in the World.
Allen McDonald’s fight to keep the ๐ from ๐ฅ blowing up..

Welcome to Saturday 9.
What we've committed to our readers is that we will post 9 questions
every
Saturday. Sometimes the post will have a theme, and at other times

posts and leave a comment. Because we don't have any rules, it is your
choice. We hate rules. We love memes, however, and here is today's meme.
2) The video is all about baking a birthday cake. When did you most recently enjoy something home baked? Were you the baker? I was the baker. And it was probably the Christmas before last.
4) This week's song shares nothing but the title with a Beatles song. (Here's a video of Paul McCartney performing it live.) Can you think of another title that's been used by more than one song? Not at the moment.
The book is Man’s Search For Meaning, by Viktor E. Frankl.
Sorry I can’t get a photo of it to stick in the app from the iPad.
And I can’t get the old one back. Hope this is readable. Still working on it. Tried something from the P.C.and that was a MISTAKE,
